JayC Posted January 16, 2011 Report Posted January 16, 2011 Hello all! My question/problem is that of concern to my 2007 Chevy Silverado Crew Cab. There is hardly any room for sub(s) under the back bench seats. The seats split 70/30 and I am looking for suggestions on brands/models of subs that will in fact fit well. My concerns with shallow mounts is my inexperience and never personally hearing any of them. Does any one have suggestions on insight on what would be a viable option for this. Anyone with a new crew cab chevy knows that I am talking about. Does anyone have pics of other crew cabs 07-09? Any help or ideas at all would be a major help. Thanks, JayC!

JayC Posted January 16, 2011 Author Report Posted January 16, 2011 I currently have a Diamond D3 and in order to get correct air space I had to raise the seats 2". I want to get away from the raised seats and lower them back to factory height for head room issues.

sps1989 Posted August 2, 2011 Report Posted August 2, 2011 shallow mounts will be easiest and you may even have enough room to port the box as well. or you can do two sub like the dc level 2 12s in a sealed box. or possibly 2 10s ported or maybe 3 8s sealed. i have a 2002 chevy crew cab and i had 2 12 kicker cvts under the back seat and 2 behind it and it sounded damn good to be shallows in sealed boxes. or you can make a center console box for the back seat.
