Well, i did tried that a few weeks , i just don´t have a picture, i build a box for a single loudforce 12" sub, sub up/port side using an external 6" aeroport, anyways, i didn´t glued the top baffle in order to test this, first i tried the sub close to the port and hit a 146.1 at that moment, after that, i changed the baffle around and sub got further away from the port, i hit a 146.5 dbs on the same peak, power, port direction, etc etc. Of course, this might be different on other applications, but on a single sub setup using an external aeroport, you´ll get louder placing the sub as far away as you can from the port!
