tacomabanga1986 Posted January 17, 2011 Report Posted January 17, 2011 well i got a duralast gold 950 cranking amp i forget what ah battery up front and a stinger sp800 in the back and its on its last legs and i think its hurting my system more than helping it i got a 70amp stock alt and these 2 batteries with big 3 and 1000w amp i was wondering if i replaced my stinger with this will it help at all or make it about the same (ie when wangin full tilt at idle i drop in to the 11's @ 1ohm i was looking at this battery to replace the stinger with http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_17907_SHURiKEN-SK-BT20.html the box design im looking at is gunna take up all the space i got behind my seat to use for amp rack and what knot, i dunno what ideas i got but i was gunna mount this battery on the other side of my front battery under the hood and then run wire back to amps but i might can find a place to mount it tho i have little to no money to get a battery but if i can find a better battery for this price so i can get rid of my stinger battery, it has to be a sealed battery, i can find a acid battery for this price but my son rides around with me so it has to be a sealed battery my stinger is cracked on the bottom and wont charge over 11v and has set for like 6month befor i got it and was resting at 9v when i got it (i know noob mistake no bashing please) but anyone got any ideas on some good batteries that will work good as a second for 1000wrms? here's a link to my system 99 toyota tacoma , 2 mtx 8000 1504's in a sealed downfire , 1000w memphis amp here's a link to my other system my 90 geo prizm test car heres a thread i got of new songs u can dl that are legal = Some Good Bangage/you Can Dl These Free And Legit
