Recommended Posts

Ripped out my wall today, so if anyone wants some cheap subs to play around with hit me up I'll send you a couple.

Box is 7 cubes net, and about 8.77 cubes gross. No pics up yet, this is just to tease you guys and hopefully generate some interest. I just gotta cut the baffles and the box is done.

Sub is a Fi 18" BTL (thanks to Steve), amp is a US Amps MD-3D (thanks to Ray)

What the port specs & tuning? Is it going to be sub up and port back? You can give us just a little more info to hold us over. Did you ever get your wall metered? I know it wasn't a lot of power but the cone area should have more then made up for it.

My wall was ear-metered by both Steve and Ray...(not a TL, but close enough haha). They said because of all the cancellation i was getting by having the wall face forward without sealing it off from the back, it was only hitting like 138. (they both said the same number without knowing what the other said).

Box is tuned to 32 hz with 81" of port. Sub up port back, sub is in the center, port on the left. Sub will be flushmounted, and a 1/4 inch mdf trim panel will go over the visible sides, and i have a couple ideas for that too. should look just as good as itll sound.

pics are loading now.
