Alright, here is where the wires go, I will do the bypass before I go to sleep, I think the reason it didnt work is you forgot to ground the neutral safety wire :P that wire is needed to the parking brake/neutral safety in manual cars, and grounded in automatics

Trunk wire - goes to BLACK/WHITE (-), Requires Part # 775 Relay , now check to see how thick this wire is, if its really thin you don't need a relay, but if its a decent size then you need one, take a pic for me if you are unsure

I will be back in a couple hours to finish the rest for the bypass

ok all this is hooked up other then trunk release, parking light output and break shut down (we tried it grounded and not grounded) input. we now have the locks working like they should. but no remote start. we did the tach learn procedure and put the manual setting to auto trans. is there something im missing?

ground the neutral safety wire, otherwise it won't work

yea we had that grounded. but guess what..... WE GOT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the key fob was on a setting that doesnt exist in the manual and he had to push the start button 3 times for it to start, not twice like its supposed to. so we reset the key fob and wholla!! it works 100% so we took the whole thing 100% back out and are starting fresh to do the install. thank you so much. you have been such a huge help, we defiantly could not have done this with out your last drawing lol. thanks again. just one last question. are all those unused wires for add on's like security and tilt sensors and stuff? thanks again.

no problem, glad you got it to work!!! The extra wires give you options so it can work with about 99% of cars out there. Plus you can have remote triggers, like all the aux 1 -4 you can turn on with the remote, and use it to trigger stuff on and off :P really they just want to make sure everything you could ever need is on there :P also for things like diesels, where you need the glow plugs to warm up, and cars with turbos where you need the turbo to wind down before the car shuts down, and manual cars :P

they can be fun and stressful, I like doing the kia's, cause many of them don't need bypasses, and all the wires are all right up front. You will be having real fun when you get to do an older Buick, you have to remove the entire dash, I mean everything, its ridiculous, well you can work around it too, but that's a pain also
