Its always like that. I want a high end scope or at least a middle to high end scope but im picky. Right now im leaning towards a swfa 3x15 ffp. Im still hung up on if I really will ever need the ffp or not too. If not I can get more scope for my money

yeah, I am going to play with some pistol scopes and see if I can get accurate up to about 200m. Like I said, it's going to be a hunting gun so for now because I am in NC and I have yet to hunt anywhere that had more that about 150 or so meters of flat ground 200 is my goal. Now, down the road I am going to go for more of a permanent scope mount that entails drilling and tapping the reciever as well as removing the rear sight mount all together. When that time comes I will look into a real nice piece of glass and see how far I can consistantly shoot.

Be honest with yourself...

If you think you will have a need to range find OFTEN using the scope then do it if not 2fp is fine. The difference is you can range find at any magnification using the FFP vs a ertain magnification using the 2nd FP. The thing a lot of people don't realize though is the fact you better be sharp with the math and actually learn your reticle. The majority of shooters can get away with a duplex reticle and 2fp cause they will never range find in their life.

Just more for you to think about

the scope mount came in. It was a whore to get the front pin out of the rear sight! The supplied punch exploded. I tried to heat it with a torch because some of them are soldered (silver solder) and bent a good snapon punch.lol I ended up drilling it and knocking it out. The mount is rock solid. Can't wait to start testing scopes...
