Amp Upgrade

Hey guys I was just wondering if my 2 MTX Terminator series 12 inch subs (400wrms @2ohms and 1200peak @2ohms) <-- specs for both subs combined can handle the Kicker 10zx400.1 amp. I think its a match made by god but since kicker under rate their specs would my subs be able to handle it?

I am currently using the amp that came with the MTX Terminator package (TNA251) and it bangs pretty good for such little power and now with this new kicker amp, will i be getting 2-3x more bass ?

Any feedback is supported and if they are compatable can anyone send me that amp for cheap ? or a link to a cheaper site?

Your subs can handle it fine mate. I'm running 2 mtx 12" jack hammers on a 2500 watt hifonics amp which is kinda more than they can handle but it works fine. Beats the freaken paint off the walls in the house.

you wont have a problem at all. unless you clip them but that goes for any setup.

for the money your gonna spend on that little kicker amp since your paying for just the name i would spend the money on sumthing that would give you more headroom in the future for upgrading your subs and have power to make them loud. just get a big amp now and keep the gain way down

actually its about the same as most of those brands. wut you have is mtx's "cheaper" line which is pretty much equal to those brands you listed

awwe LOL well i guess so but they sound really clean and sounds decently loud, and thanks for the info about the other amps for the price of $150 and free shipping to canada i might just go with that cause i am planning to upgrade my subs in an year or two, and the rms for the Soundstream (http://cgi.ebay.com/SOUNDSTREAM-TRX1000D-MONO-D-Car-Audio-Amplifier-Amp-/390281454333?pt=Car_Amplifiers&hash=item5ade9662fd#ht_3812wt_1139) is 800w but my subs can handle 400wrms, so with the gains down i'll stil be fine?

EDIT: I cant get the soundstreams because they dont ship to canada, but the audiopipes have a RMS rating of 950w and thats compatiable aswell?
