Generally "corner loading" the mic means the mic is hit with a higher intensity sound wave/pressure wave that can build off the closer wall or corner/kick. Just like using an OLDER mic, it's in the interest of guys hosting shows to use a mic or mic position that will yeild a HIGHER score for the competitors. If you are scoring higher, generally you will be more STOKED about goin to shows like that. Technically as long as they do it ACROSS THE BOARD, as in uniformly for all competitors, it's not unfair to anyone unless they are built/setup to score highest specifically on dash vs. kick, but generally it will be higher in the "stock kick" than "stock dash".
