str86diesel Posted February 22, 2007 Report Share Posted February 22, 2007 (edited) awesome pics man...that chi is cool.. The wife and I actually have two chi's..they are pretty cool dogs. I'm not sure how much you know about that breed..but watch their tempermant. We went through some training with our dogs and were told by our vet and breeder that due to the size if chi's, they are border line diabetic... The cure is to give them like a spoonful of plain yogurt once a week, or get some yogurt treats from petsmart. For some reason the bacteria in yogurt helps regulate the sugar levels in the dogs. Let me tell you something about my dog......he is a beast! He just turned 13weeks and so did the chihuaha that you can sorta see in the pic with his but sticking out shes a funny little dog i like her too. So far she is the boss. She seriously tells him what time it is at the food bowl. He can eat when SHE is full and thats that.
