finkster Posted September 7, 2007 Report Share Posted September 7, 2007 hey guys... my buddy has got a "dual" amp (P.O.S) pushing 2 svc subs. He said he was riding down the road when the amp cut out...now it wont work past volume 7 or the amp will shut off....also the right sub is not working but the left is fine....i checked the ground and its good and so is the rem....the power wire seems fine to me...its just that the right sub doesnt work and once u turn the HU up past 6 it goes into protect... wadda u guys think it is? Gains have been turned down but didnt do ne thing....when i took the sub out i saw black marks on the tinsel leads but it didnt look like they were broken...
