about to start work

im about to get my tax return check in the mail and its time to dive head first into my build and i was wondering home much mat and/or cloth and resin i need to do my dash and both my door panels in 2-3 layers

my truck is a 91 c1500 and the part of the dash im doing is just the part where the radio is so thats not that big of a job the door panels will be glassed from the door pull down

another thing... can i glue my mdf rings right to the panel or do i have to lay glass first i was going to use 1/4 dowel rod and glue the rings to the rod then the rod to the panel and stretch cloth over the whole panel and then lay mat over the top of that

is there anywhere to get resin cheaper than tap plastics because 2gal of resin form there is almost $200
