I would to build a box for a single sundown audio sa 12', with a SUNDOWN SCV-1500D or a SOUNDQUBED Q1-1200D amp (approximately 800wrms at 2 ohms). Can you help me, for the internal volume and the port size for a box tuned arround 35-33hz ( What is better?). Thanks ! Ps : I listen to rap/trap/house music ! philrab Posted December 24, 2014 Report Share Posted December 24, 2014 2.15 net tuned to 33 hz if you want to bang a bit lower than Sundown's recomended box will get you. Believe (don't remember precisely) I had 24" of port area. On that much power, I'd probably choke the box down a touch or listen VERY carefully for bottoming out. I'd also consider a bit more port area than I used to avoid port noise.
