To tell if it has a constant test tone you have to view the Termlab's Spectrum analyser(sp). If it doesn't move during the 30 seconds then it has a constant tone inbedded. If it does move then its legal. In every vehicle that this cd has been used in that I have tested, the analyser has moved very frequently during the 30 second time frame. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it.
