To tell if it has a constant test tone you have to view the Termlab's Spectrum analyser(sp). If it doesn't move during the 30 seconds then it has a constant tone inbedded. If it does move then its legal. In every vehicle that this cd has been used in that I have tested, the analyser has moved very frequently during the 30 second time frame. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more.
