From what I've seen on this site vids wise the btl's will blow em away. Well theirs a couple factors you have to think about box, power, and setup/car. I don't know how much the memphis's can take daily but a btl can take bout 1500-2000rms all day long.

Well one of my friends Joey wanted some beat after he heard my 15. We was gonna put some orion xtr 10's in it but, they didn't fit without having to keep the seat folded down. So I got him to do one ten in a sealed box. I took him to my buddy's shop and he bought a Interfire 10 and a db drive 8 guage wiring kit. I got him a sealed box for it at the pawnshop for $20. Then I sold him a Sony Xplode 250 watt amp to power it and it does well since the sub is 700 watts. The sub is a dual four ohm so I ran one coil to one channel and the other coil to the other channel on the 2 channel amp. I ran the wires for free cause he's hooked me up with free food from where he works. Well here's some pics since these pics I have clean up his wires since then and he's beatin for one ten I think it turn out great. It in the back firing forward so its not real visible because the jeep is a soft top. Strong little amp for 250 watts. The nice beatin ten. A couple vids, if you see a person in the second or third vid its Joey the guy who I installed it for. What yall think for my real first install on a friends car. He already had the headunit and the speaker bar.

Hey have you ever tried your box flipped around where you mounted the amp would be at the back wall of the truck near the window?

Don't think so I bought one with a cigarette lighter end on it and I chopped it off and tapped into my brake lights with wire taps so when at night time only I would turn on my lights it would automatically turn on.

Ive always thought that the copper wire was positive and the silver wire was negative. Just put the wires in that connector one on each side and see if it lights up if it doesn't switch them around. See if you can get like male terminals/connectors from autozone unless you have some and see if they will fit into the stock light connector tight and then crimp both pos and both negs to the male terminals and plug it into the connector and you'll power both.

Sorry to hear about this mane. I been busy pulled a all nighter saturday night working on my car and haven't been on SMD for a couple days and come on and find out about this. Still gotta trace out the subs and cut that out so the sub's will countersink and then glue that piece on and caulk the inside and repaint the port and it'll be ready for carpet.

Well Finally got around to getting my dad to let me use his router so I attached the 1/2 flush board on the front of the box and cut away. I really like using the router and with the flush trimmer it works great, cut the port to pure sexiness you'll see.

Well I went today and got my license and passed with a 90 and 75 is failing so I think I did pretty good. She took points off on me for stopping a little hard one time and not using signal coming out of parallel parking and not checking for traffic coming out of parallel parking. She didn't take any points off when I was on the road and then 1/4 the way back a sparked up a conversation with her. Now I can drive but first have to pay for 120 dollor a month insurance

Yeah thats my car I have been driving on a permit for two years and it expired the 7 of this month. So I am 17 now and going for my license tomorrow, I am using my grandpa's car for the test because my car is having engine problems.

What are you confused about I posted to tell people I am going to go get my license tomorrow and what little tips they could share and to wish me luck.

Cool Imma try and practice it before I go. I took adapt which is the school's driver's ed. Damn 50 well how long does it last though. both hands yes sir I will be doing that. Duh LOL I won't be taking a car that even has a system in it so I'm good.

Hey guys I am 17 and I have my driver's test appointment for tomorrow and I wanted to ask you guys what to do right orm ake sure I do. Do you think I will pass. I have had my permit since I was 15 so thats been two years of driving. I am borrowing my Grandpa's car cause mine at the moment is running bad. What all things did you take with you when you went so far I have been told to take the adapt certificate, Learner's permit, proof of insurance on car, certificate of attendance, 10 dollars, and know my social security.

Very unexpected I was just watching the show with him in it like a week or two ago, his shop did hella nice and awsome work.

There both single 8 ohm coils, so I wired them together parallel and get a 4 ohm load.

I tested it out today sounds ok for how old they are and that their 8 ohms. I just tested them on the rockford and had the rockford P2002 on 3/4 gain. I may test them on my 600 American pro later. Yeah I bought a Rockford Fosgate P2002 that would be good with them.
