    yea eat dirt ur box is tight and sean can do some nice boxes the first time i met that guy on here he was nice and helped me out with my box for my tens even though i knew i was enoying at first hes a good dude i know who to ask if i need something on this forum

    so is there anyway i can wire them subs to one ohm without my amp going into protection if my amp is able to do that 1 ohms stable did u look at the link for my amp specs doesnt 1x600 isnt that 1 ohm or what

    ok sean i knew u would ge me sume stuff i know about and sume stuff i dont i guess i will stick with the people talkin about tens twelves and 15's 18' are out my league and seee brad i knew someone could help u with the tuning deal

    yea it should be louder how many watts u putting into them things and for sure it will be louder there is more cone area 6 inches more all together than from the 15's ur friends got

    subs up port back like steves hoe box i would go 38 and up on ur tuning maybe over 40 and also if ur just all out spl u need to find out what ur car frequency is then u would tune alittle higher than that but just wait for some of the spls guys to get on and they can tell u what u should really tune to because i dont really go alot towards spl maybe if u can catch steve ask him

    anyone got any suggestions or can someone please tell me what to do or if i can do what i asked earlier i am probably going to change the wiring tomorrow?

    can my amp be wired down to 2 ohms right now i have my subs wired at 4 ohms if i can wire them to 2 ohms will they hit harder than they already do?

    so ur going to use two subs well there is a calculator that i used on my box that worked great and i know it did my subs slam now that they are in a tuned box http://reaudio.com/speaker_box/LPort_Box_Calc.html u can use this just put in your demension and u have to change the width of the port and l2 port to get the right tuning and u should tune in between 32 and 35 hertz will be good

    http://www.electronixwarehouse.com/car/sgl...mpro/vs1405.htm heres my amp and my bad on the drawing the subs on the bottom are actually single 4 ohms and if i wire them down to 2 ohms or even 1 ohm if my amp can do that. would they get more power meaning hit a hell alot harder

    hey dude u did the same thing i did the port is supposed to be behind the front plate not screwed into the side if u understand u need to move that port over and behind that front plate and u might have to adjust the L2 port so it is still the same width port all around or u can leave it like that if u like that sound but if u say it is tune to 34 hertz its really not maybe a little higher

    does anyone know if the hole that i accidently made in the surround with affect the performance of this subwoofer after i use some rubber cement on it
