What are you guys opinons on buying some red primer? Should i do it, or just leave it grey? I am shooting to have it painted by june/july.

Bumper/tailgate = Gone. Getting warmed up. Grinding it down some. Finally after a few coats of rage, and some primer. Still has a ways to go, but its dark, and i am tired. About halfway through, i gave up, and went and bought an electric sander. I know, cheater. Fucking sunburn. He shouldve came to my hsoue, and used my garage!

Aight. got up this morning at 9:00am. Drove 25miles to my dads shop for him to tell me it is full, and we have to do it outside. :mad: He couldve came to my hosue, and done it indoors. eh fuck it. It all worked out, minus the dirt/leaves in my asscrack. Anyways, he welded it on, and then i started doing al the raging. First try, i think it came out ok. I am going to get it a little smoother Tuesday. I also will be removing the big ass silverado banner, and the little efi sticker. Probobly going to smooth on the tailgate, and prime it too. Anyways, Pics... ME, Scoping the scene. Getting the bumper off. Pop waiting on me to get the bumper off. After 3 bloody knuckes, off it comes! woot! Now gotta get rid of that tire. Gone

Since i could not edit the original thread any more, and i have taken a different tide with my truck, I just made a new thread. I am going to start with the pics oldest to newest. I decided to go back to my original idea of not doing anything audiowise except carputer, comps, & an amp. I have my honda to beat in. So this thread is just going to show my rogress on the truck, and eventually some audio going in it. I am trying to get this thing ready for paint before summer. All i have left is a new hood, front bumper/valance, and to repair the hail on the roof. Then paint time. This is where it started. All stock. :bleh: Got some 94-98 wheels, and wide tires. Gave it a nice mean stance. Mileage. It has 71,XXX now :/ Look at that engine bay! :yum: Then I threw some 5 on it. Can't have any haters seeing in. i built this box from moes specs today. 2.5 cuf @ 30hz. I know the pic says 2.05, but the text on the box plans page says 2.5. Anyways. Decided to hell with these subs just sitting around, and it will be a few b4 i get my 15\'s, so i build a box for them. Amp is running in 4ohm stereo giving each sub 200w. they are rated @ 150. It bangs. I like it. I am going to carpet the box black this weekend, and eventually sell it when i get my 15\'s. Pics...

Alright. Here is the scoop. Every since I sold my 91 ext cab, I have wanted another dime. I haven't got this one yet, but my boy is just driving it until he gets his cutlass how he wants it, then he is selling the dime. To me for 500bones. He told me about 2months. My plans for it is an all out custom truck. Yes, a full frame off restoration. A 3-5 year project. Hopefully that is overestimating. I'm working on getting a new job that will be paying niiice, and drastically drop down how long it takes to finish. Plans are to when I first get it, sand it down, and work on the body. Lining everything up, and getting it primered. Painting it will be the absolute last thing I do. Anyways. after i get all the body work done on it, I will begin getting it all down to the frame. Once I've got a frame and motor sitting in my garage, I will be making it look good. Blasting it, sanding, and bed lining it. Then I will work on getting the motor cleaned up. Also, i am going to bag it. Mr S10, meet the Pavement. Once it is bagged, and the frame/motor is cleaned up, and finished, I will begin putting it all back together with tons of custom things going on at this point. then I will roll it down to paint. then it'll be done. After I'm finished with the frame, and i get the body back on it. While i am working on the interior, it will look like this... About driving height After I pull up and let her down And finally when I'm finished with paint and all, about wha i want it to look like. Also, there will be some aerodynamic mirrors, not the stock s10 ones.

This.... Will reove all the waterspots/haze from your paint. Give it a good wash, then do the wole thing with this, thenthe next day, wash it, and hit it with a shammy. Your shit will shine like new. I guarentee. Here are some before and after pics of my 16y/o paint. In this pic, you can see that the door is shit-ton more shiney than the fender/hood/bed. I had just started. Another shot of the door. Again, the door has been done, but the fender/hood/bed hasnt. The fender does have one ciircle i did to show the difference. Another Shot Door After I hope this helps bro.

Awesome. I'll have an update on mine the night of the 17th, or the next morning with my pan on, and primed, and the top of my bed where te bed rails were, filled smoothed, and primed.

I don't know how to add bass. anyone that does, feel free to add it, and reup it.

Never did tell me if those are the $30 stanley sawhorses from the depot.
