  1. chillin. today was my day off, but i had to go in, and work 3hours. I wanted to work on my roll pan, but it is raining now. tornadoes are heading my way. they may go around though. Looks like they will go to the north, and south of me.
  2. I was in that vid. Right when the vid started of the integ, that is me in the white tee/black hat shaking justins hand above the car. I didn't know that was you guys there. Hell, i would have walked right on up for a demo. Guys, the teg is slumpin hard!!!. you could feel it standing over by cliffs truck. the blue truck above the car. Nice job guys. BTW: You were standing in the poo water in the pic of yall with the trophies.
  3. We had a great turnout, clif, justin, and doug were there. also me. alpineinstaller, several other ca.com members. i forgot my cam, no pics.
  4. What the hell are you up to? lol. And how come you didnt make the meet. i wanted to hear the mag.
  5. hotosho indeed. Hit me up via PM, i'll see what i can do.
  6. Yes, i know my billet's mounting clips are rusting. I need to get my ass on the ball, and get some stainless ones.
  7. Had a visitor. My friend did this... Topless! Old hood off. Me Posin! LOL, my boy yelled WTF OMG, and i turned aroud, and he snapped me. :/ HAd one bend that i had to straighten. Lining it up.
  8. Just got a new hood, well, a used one. Found it locally for 85bucks. The paint has some chips in it, but i am not concerned since i am preping it for paint. I jsut needed a straight hood. Should be finished with my pan teusday. Anyways, pics of the new hood... About all i could fit in with my hood in front of it on the ground. I have a HUGE garage that needs to be cleaned. That is on my to-do list. Guy bought a cowl hood, and sold me his stock one. I like the stock ones better. My old hood. You can really see the hail damage in these pics. May even end up getting new fenders. Also, i was quoted 350 to repair my roof, which includes no body filler, that is jsut popping them out. IT is jsut as bad as the hood was. Back to tonight... New Hood. 3 bolts on each side. Simple enough. Getting those out.
  9. I donated once, and i am fixing to buy some shirts. Fixing to get a bunch of cool shirts from all over the web. funny shit too.
  10. My concrete is crooked. It' the way its sitting.
  11. More pics, and a vid!!! I messed up my drivers side when i tried to fix the fingerprint, and fill in the final pin holes. didnt let the primer dry all the way! grr omg, i hate body work. it looked so damn good too. Oh well, I will be hitting this thing on every offday i get until it is perfect. Pass side looks a almost perfect. Still has a few spots to fix, and the drives side is once again a wreck. whatever. Like i said, i'll fix it 100% no matter how long it takes. Also, Like i said sorta in the vid. the next 2-3months i am working on getting the ext straightend up. has some hail damage, doing some mods. So basically what i am saying is right now, the paint is of no concern. Someone could key it, and i wouldnt care unless the body panels were damaged. I have a few more things to do befoer it is ready for paint. New hood, new smoothie bumper/valance, finish removing the molding, and repair the hail on the roof. Anywyas, pics... Vid...
  12. Alright. I've finally got this bodywork stuff figured out. I've got just one more coat left on the drivers side, then i should be able to do the pass side in about 2hours. then my next day off, i'll work on the piece under the tailgate. it isnt blatantly visible anyways. Check these pics out! Not bad for a dirst timer, if i do say so myself! BTW, that one spot you see about the size of a fingerprint, is. And it is only in the primer. I fondled it too soon! It was so sexy.
  13. I just got back from sanding it back down to the metal, and reapplying some more rage. I tink also, i had too much rage on it. So after i sanded itback down to the metal, i ut a very small amount of rage on the spots that were not smooth. i'm letting it dry so i can go hit it with 60. then what, another coat, then hit it with the 120? or another 60? This is my absolute first project that involves body work, so am am pretty much lost. Just learning from trial and error. This is how it stands ATM. About ready to sand it down.
  14. Thanks. I am going to try it right now with the 60.
  15. OK, i need soem insight from some of the pros with rage. From my very first coat, i have been hitting it with 220grit. It is not shaping very easily. do i need to start with a lower grit on my first few coats, and then work my way u to some finer grit? i just bought some 60, 100, and 150. I have some big hunks that the 220 jsut isnt touching. Once i get those down, i should be able to move up to the 220, then on up to 500, then to 800, and have it smooth like a baby bottom. Someone hook me up with some knowledge!
  16. It definately took some bro. My dad was like is this where you want it? and i was like i dont know, just do it, and hurry! Then once it was it was welded, i thought it looked like shit, then we grinded it down, and i hit it with rage, and it started having some shape. Then some rimer, and bam!
