Wow good stuff, Last summer someone stoled two decks out of our cars, I told my dad he should have been put an alarm on his car for a long as time but no one listens to me, smh. Right now we got a SWANN color camera hooked up for the front... and a cheap $25 black and white camera with audio hooked up, we dont use this one we just use it for audio so if alarms go off a we hear....all set up to the VCR....all of this I set up by myself We are moving soon so we are gonna need a new setup I'll make sure to get at you when we do, I dont know too much about this stuff. I looked for forums to get help but no luck on finding any sites. Here is what someone did to our camera, I guess they got on the roof and cut the cord, its stopped working for 2days and I couldnt figure it out, so I hoped on the roof and checked things out and sure enough someone cut it. They must have thought I was dumb cause I split the sleeves back re-wired it up wrapped it and threw that bitch back on the roof..

And o yeah, what you guys think? should I go on ahead and fix it and keep it if they total it out? I think it may need a whole new rear end. I dunno hopefully insurance guy comes by today and I'll see.

If your in south sac go on ahead and forget going over 47th avenue over pass....dangerous Lets just say I got cut off real bad, breaks got locked up/both drivers side tire poped going over the island, broke a rim in just about in half/ spint lost control spun over to the other side of the road slid down the railing then some how landed back over on to the other side of the road. and to top it off the bastard that started it all didnt even stop just kept on going. Hope fully this truck isnt totaled out. cause KBB just told me this truck is only worth about 6k tops thats BEFORE all of this. If so trying to move on up to a tahoe

I was wondering if anyone takes classes there or knows anyone who does? Like is it worth it or would I be better off learning from like a shop or something. I wanna get into learning a lot about engines and building or repairing them if I want or have to. There arent many shops or personal Mechanics you can trust out there. They usually mess something up so I'll have to pay more or keep coming back to them in the long run. Also I'm trying to Build up an Chevy 400 SB on a Budget of 7k anyone in Sacramento Or anywhere in Northern Cali have that "go to shop" thats does great work.

Damn that looks good, I think my problem is going to be when I have to make the other doors. Like I can design one but I dont know how I'm going to make an exact copy of it for the other doors.

Has anyone here done any custom door panels? Like completely redesign them? Didn't feel like uploading a pic of my door panels(lazy lol) But here is an idea of what mine look like. They look exactly like this but have the tanish brown color, I think I'm going to start on them when I get the power windows and shaved door kit installed.

I dont see the big deal with front tinted windows and loud exhaust. If thats the case every time a cop sees a Bike they should get a ticket cause most of them have the loudest pipes. And for tints just roll down your window if you get pulled over if a cop is scared of getting shot like most people say

Yeah he didnt turn his lights on till after I hit the speed bump. Theres nothing to say I was driving recklessly. But of course in court its his word against mine. But I'll see on trial day what goes down.

Anyone know if regualr patrol cars use they dash cams all day? or eve if they even have those. Or do only highway patrol use the cams? In Cali. On may 27 I had got an Reckless driving, having the wrong address on mt L'S, and unlawful riding all in one ticket SMH. It was me and my boy at an house party. We was just hanging out, outside never went into the party. I guess I fight broke out and then some chick came running out talking about some people was on they way and they was gon start shooting. So my other Boy was there and he was with these chicks. It was 6 of them. He wanted to get them outta there and we was just gonna go to an house RIGHT around the corner. So he asked if it be koo to put them in the back seat, I thought its only around the corner so its koo. So its me(driving) my boy in the passenger side and 6 chicks in the back....Mind you this is just and 4 door sedan 5 seater. I'm not gonna lie I took off kinda fast and maybe hit 30mph in a residential area speed limit was 25. But I slowed down after I realized how fast I was going. This car is REALLY low and it scraps when I hit speed bumps so I do this like thing where I swing the car from side to side so the bumper dosent scrape. So I do that then the next street I didnt even notice the speed bumps and went right over them, scarped the shit outta the bumper smh. Next thing I knwo lights are flashing behind me, so I pull over. Officer said I was speeding which I was when I took off but I slowed down. Then He said I was speeding and driving recklessly over speed bumps. I asked him two times how fast was I goings. He never answered and went back to his car. Got my info, got my boy info and got the girls info. None of them had a seat belt and didnt get a ticket But I got a ticket for them....unlawful riding and whatever Mind you he didnt put the speed I was going on the ticket. which he was suppose to do. Had court the other day, Plead not guilty and asked to speak with the prosecutor. He droped the address change cause I got that fixed. And droped the unlawful riding. I went back to see the Judge she was hella koo. Asked why I got the reckless driving I explaind and she was like that dont sound right she said I dont have to pay the $1,180 in fines. She set me up for a trail in September....HELLLLA long away But If I lose the trial its 90 days for me lol. I hope I dont get no Jail time Cause I'm trying to go to bootcamp soon so I can be an Correctional Officer. So that will Fuck me up big time. I should have known though, two balck males and a bunch of people in the back seat we was going to get fucked with....ESp in a Buick Lesabre

Yeah I guess I will have to do something like that. The car rides really smooth. I drove a few Cadillacs before and I think it rides just as good or even better. And I want to keep it that way.

Looking for some shops that do good quality lifts. I need to lift a 2001 Buick lesaber a inch or two to clear some 22''. I could do 22'' now but around here roads are ass and not good enough to be riding skinnies. I was thinking lesschwab, but don't they only do lifts for trucks/suv? I may give them a call later to make sure. I went to the website and it only has trucks/SUV listed for lifts. Also Id like to kill 2 bird with one stone with this thread. Any good, GOOD! paint shops around these areas. Looking to do some Candy red.

I'm trying to get EVERYTHING redone, as in engine and tranny for the car to get running as if it was right outta the factory. I'm still unsure as to what size engine and tranny I want to put in cause I haven't decided on what size rims yet, I don't want to put rims on then it seem like the car takes 30mins to reach 60mph People been saying to drop a 572 in, but sh!t thats almost 20,000 for the engine its self lol. Lets just say I don't wanna spend no more then the price of a new range rover lol I want to get the car running good first then worry about everything else.

whats good everyone My name is Terrell I'm 18, will be 19 this May on the 18th , I stumbled across a link to this place on Layitlow forums.... My Screen name explains it pretty much, Chevy caprice aka Box chev I don't own one yet, but I'm on the hunt for and 1988 Chevy caprice so if anyone knows someone or has one for sale any where in Nor cal and is running let me know has to be an 88. I just recently found an 88 and considering buying it this Monday but it has some surface rust, and I dunno if I wanna deal with whole rust problem. If I get it I'm looking for some good place that does Good engine/tranny work etc. Paint/body shop and someone who does great interior work....put me on a few shops people need some help in these areas. I prefer a Shop that does all around work in all areas so I can get it all done at once. Doest have to be just here in sac, I'll go the bay or maybe L.A. where my Sacramento heads at?
