  1. Jealous is she? Seems like it... Give her the 2nd chance and just have a talk with her about it. Tell her you ain't doing anything wrong, etc... Say at least I aint cheating on you or whatever.... IDK
  2. Isn't the IAC only to help regulate the amount of air that enters the engine at idle? If I remember right..... And wouldn't a bad or faulty TPS sensor indicate problems such as hesitation or stumbling during acceleration? IDK if TPS and IAC problems vary from vehicle to vehicle....
  3. Vehicle is a 2002 Pontiac Grand Am GT with the 3.4L V6. 100K on odo. The throttle 'bounces' or 'oscillates' between the RPM's of 1000-3000. At any gear 2nd and up. I don't know any other word to describe what its doing. It's not just the Tach thats bouncing, its the motor too. It seems to do it with a certain amount of pressure on the gas pedal. It began after the starter was recently replaced. What could be causing the 'bouncing' of the throttle?
  4. Holy reviving old threads batman!!!
  5. Looking at Treo Engineering site could you tell from the dust cap? Like some of the woofers have bigger TREO logos than others. http://www.treoonline.com/ssx.html Which of the Treo woofers would be worth the $399 if the woofer checked out okay?
  6. I might just do that if I'm on that side of town later... I'll snap pics again. Do you guys need pics of the bottom of motor or what?
  7. Nope being as it's a 'super woofer' they won't let anyone take it outta the box. To risky as said by the mgr. there.
  8. Well they do got that sweet red American Legacy woofer there next to the Treo lol How do you know that its an SSX c_stud?
  9. So as a soldier or vet you would classify that guy as a pussy? lol
  10. Is this a good deal for $399? They have a 13" JL W7 for $350 in the JL box also.
  11. But can the 'war' in both countries be classified as an 'illegal war?'
  12. What kind of Treo woofer is this? A local pawn shop is selling it for I think $399. There description of the woofer is '18" Super Woofer'
  13. 14. There is a reason it's called the 'slim-line' series. Duhhhh I don't get it, you guys bash on every single brand if It's not Fi, DC, DD, AA, JK, ABC, LOL.... Just cause some turtle said to get the Pioneer Slim Line brand. I doubt he knows what DC is. I doubt he knows much about car audio. :shot:
  15. Look up Spectre brand intake parts at your local Autozone/Oreillys. Just go from there and piece together a kit.
  16. IDK if this is a repost or not but I love Bun B's shit. Love the UGK shit. I hate the Asher Roth I love college original, but IMO nice beat. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_dD2sp6FL8k...feature=related
  17. X2 Are leveling kits even made for 2WD trucks?? (The ones that raise the front)
  18. The only increase in sound you'll get is the 'roar' from the less restrictive intake system. I doubt it matters how long the tube is, as long as it doesn't run the length of your car or look like a little twisty straw you'll be fine. Getting cold air would be the goal here. Like position the tubing so it sits behind the bumper, in front of wheel well, etc.. As long as you get 'cold' air. But instead of all that hassle just get a cold air kit or piece one together via a Spectre mock up kit, then buy the pieces you need and place a cone filter on it. You'll still get your sound plus increase in throttle response.
  19. Place detector above/behind rear view mirror and hardwire into vehicles electrical. Of course fuse it too. IMO a good place to hide it.
  20. So basically your gonna cut a hole roughly 2.5-4" in the bottom of air-box and face it towards the motor? If so the added heat would IMO increase intake temps, thus possibly losing power. Plus side is the sound you'd get from it. IMO just keep the K&N filter in place with stock tubing and try and route the 2nd tube lower to get a true cold air effect. Or just throw a cone filter on it for a lil increase in throttle response and the cool intake sound. This is your engine bay correct?
  21. Its just like running a cone filter IMO. Most cars have holes in the bottom anyways in case there was moisture buildup in the bottom of air-box. I've never seen any problems with opening your intake up. Plus side with intake filter/kit is the sound you get. (If you enjoy that kinda sound) Although depending on where the air-box is, you could possibly be letting more heat into air-box which raises intake temps.
  22. I see.... Looked cool nonetheless. But little rings hold the cone in place? Are they plastic or metal?
