  1. No problem. But those avalanches are super easy. U don't have to cut nothing just build a box to fit in the bed and a trim ring. That bed cover leaks but as long as u throw some glass on the box and the back of the trim piece your good
  2. Thanks guys i appreciate it. I can't wait to switch these things out. Ill keep u guys posted.
  3. I built an avalanche about 4 years ago using 4 mean machine 15s. Its a sealed blowthru a gets pretty loud on 3k. Now the customer wants to double the power and change subs. How would the level 4s perform in a sealed box. Its never been on the meter but he's definitely louder then i am with his current setup and i hit a 146.7 burp and a 144.? On music. Does anybody have any experience with any of the dc subs in sealed boxes?
  4. yeah man all you guys are awesome and i apreciate you guys lettin me hang out with yall!
  5. yeah man DJ's truck was the most impressive at the show. i hung out with him basically all day on both days. he's a really cool guy. DJ next time you come down beers on me pimpin.
  6. hold on a min! we got more brevard county residents on smd? damn i thought i was the only one!
  7. hey what time on fridays? i live in psj and work at the xtreme audio in merritt island, maybe we can get together and try to make this event really big! where in melbourne you guys have this event?
  8. you should be able to get 4 15's and about 256 sq. inches of port. i would tune it to like 30-34 hertz.
  9. you could try using birch or you can build up you false floor so you can use 2x4's as bracing and just put a angle on the edges so that they tuck under you trim pieces
  10. nope the cover that goes on top of the subs actually is a sheet of mdf and has cut outs where the subs are so you can't lean against the subs.
  11. i did this car about a year ago, it has 4 12" earthquake dbxi's in a ported box that replaced his back seat. the box is a functioning back seat and is quite comfortable! head unit- eclipse cd3200 components- 6.5 & 6x9 earthquake v-tek highs amp- earthquake ph2200w/4 subs- earthquake dbxi 12's (4 of them) sub amp- ph5000w/d1 batteries- yellow top up front and red top in the back alt- stock for now half volume half volume
