  2. it'll take the place of the back seats and be sealed off from the trunk. i cant wait. he wants a t4000.1 but i told him he needs a new alt (300a) and at least another battery for it and even with that the gains would have to be set low. im trying to talk him into a t2500.1 instead, but hes power hungry lol
  3. putting together a system in my buddies '06 impala soon here are a couple things that are going in the h/u thanks again sweet&low, this thing is sweet!!!

  5. no wonder i've been losing so much, cause i actually move around the map. i need to go to gander mountain or cabelas to buy some camping gear LOL
  6. 110 Multipurpose Copper (Alloy 110) American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) 8964K58 $118.65 (1 1/2" x 3/4" x 36") ASTM B211 High-Strength Aluminum (Alloy 2024) 120 Brinell 89215K151 $62.84 (same size) price per piece. i know you gotta pay to play but that is a huge jump especially when i need 2 pieces
  7. cool, so other than the metal being to thin my diagram is correct/safe?
  8. could i double up the pieces to make it thicker or would that mess up the current flow mojo?
  9. after looking at the difference in price between copper and aluminum i think I'll try to find thicker aluminum (2" x 1/2" x undecided) or just use 1/0 instead
  10. thanks Ray. i guess it will work for the time being. now to try to find thicker aluminum. or would there be any difference if i used copper instead?
  11. id be using 1/4" x 1-1/2" x undecided length aluminum with stainless bolts. anyone?
  12. I was thinking about this to save on some wire (took notes on the hoopty build and thought Steve's idea was dope) but something doesn't seem right or am I just that tired? same thing with the grounds minus the fuse blocks
  13. that is straight wild!!! at freq. and what do you have powering that "little" monster
  14. i was wondering the same thing for a 2002 tahoe ls
  15. these are what i have in the caddy to connect my batts, fuse my old sub amp and for the big 3. they do what the need to do and i haven't had a problem with them under the hood and in the trunk http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.c...tnumber=263-630
  16. on the 4 channel or the mono so the both t4k's need the gains set too? or just the master?
  17. I needed a visual. is this correct? Another thing with the t4000's if they are hooked up like this will i only need to use 1 bass knob. i forgot the output to input on the t4k's
  18. Thanks for clearing that up for me Boon, but i noticed the new T400.4's dont have an signal output. Would i have to use a y-splitter at the deck and 2 sets of rca's?
  19. I plan on getting 2- t400.4's (new model) and 2- t4000.1's and was curious about a couple things, first if one of the t4k's has a higher output wattage than the other which do i make the master? Second between the t400.4's if i run one at 2 ohms and the other at 4 ohm can they also be interconnected together via rca's since they have a different impedance?
