Steve, I know your site has been the focal point of a lot of members venting and honestly the upgrade is good overall. This site seems to take a lot more bandwidth than the previous version. I was over exaggerating a bit, but it literally took 20 seconds for it to load the page so I could respond to this thread. I only have this issue on my work PC because they throttle our internet traffic and they won't let us update anything, so it could be a browser situation as well. It's frustrating, cause the only sites I have issues with at work are ones that run the ad banners.

sorry guys. This site is expensive to run so the ads have to be there.  

the banners at the top are not ads, they are just that, partner banners.  Not really "for sale" links, just links to partner sites.
