the prop is golden.. and the paint stripping off is bad primer job/paint job.it has a aftermarket nose cone and requires you to sand/repaint it. i live on the st clair river. shallowest is in my canal and thats 4 foot.

just went through and added everything up that it supposedly has and what i can see and it totals to a bit under 10 grand if we bought it new which it basically is..

we paid 5 grand.. it has a custom fiberglass rear hatch that contours to the exhaust and has a air scoop for the air filter. also have to put in the interior and finish some cushions down below that a racoon decided to munch on.

well guys just picked her up. its a 1988 checkmate convincer its got a 454 punched and stroked with eagle crank eagle rods and weisco pistons. it also has a mild cam (not sure on duration and lift) bravo 1 outdrive with labbed 24 pitch 4 blade prop. it also had a full nitrous setup. and 25 lb bottle in the cabin. the nitrous was never used and the motor has 20 hours of break in on it. (nitrous setup for sale) im a big small boat big outboard fan and not too partial to inboards but this will do it for me lol!! anyways heres some pictures.

dual .75 mdf with wood glue inbetween with some strageically placed screws will be plenty.. and some 2x4s for bracing on top of the resin/glass you wanna do.. will do fine. and joe on second thought that wont really work.. haveing the subs oriented to the passenger side.
