    yeah blazers can get preety loud even with a little setup.. i did two l7 15s in one and even on 1000 rms it straight SLAMMED!!

    also dont be afraid of a motor with higher miles.. as long as they were taken care of.. they will run forever.. example.. my s10..with the 4.3l just about to roll 300 thousand.. and still running strong

    well on the grill it should say 4.3... it most likely is a 4.3.. go on craigslist and find yourself a motor and throw a wrench around for a few hours.. or just give it to me ROFL

    well if hes just doing a push test on the woofers to see if they are seized. that wont tell much . he has to do a ohm reading on the woofer to determine if they are blown or not. if the amp is puttin out power i put my money on blown tinsel leads.. .. we need more info.. what ohms the voice coils are. and how they were wired...

    go on craigslist and find a motor.. they are a dime a dozen.. just take a battery or breaker bar with you to make sure the motor isnt frozen up and to do a compression test..(although for a compression test youd really need a batt to crank the motor over multiple times ) does your blazer have the 4.3l motor in it..

    if your too lazy to take the woofers out of the box.. just apply a short burst of dc power to the speaker wires to see if they move or react.. a square nine volt will suffice.. just tap it for a quick second. DO not leave the leads on the battery.. (this is purely to see if the woofer still works ) (only do this if you dont have a digital multi meter)

    is the protect light on the amp on? are there any lights on? if it is goin into protect dissconnect the speakers and then try turnin the amp on. do you have acess to a multi meter? check the voice coils on the speakers.. if the amp comes on. and isnt in protect. hook up the multimeter to the outputs. set the meter to ac volts. and play a song.. see if you get anything coming out... also trace back your rca cables and remote wire.. make sure they arent cut anywhere along the way.

    umm its also a dual 1 ohm woofer.. so it will be either 2 ohm load or .5 ohm load..
