what are the box dimensions? if you need 15" on the port tube from the pictures it looks like you would need to fire the ports to the side, you could fire them elsewhere but you would need to bend them not sure you have enough room for elbows.

take it to repair shop and have them test it for you, it may be an easy inexpensive fix. if so let them repair it if not your out a couple of bucks for a bench test, you got the amp for free.

is that a down fire box? and what size/type of subs?

sound stream makes a good product, looks like there trying to get back on track. there old stuff was really good and than they kinda dropped off for a while but the last couple of years i have noticed the quality of there products making a come back.

it's just like any place else, you have your good and bad. it's true that the seasons don't change here like they do in other states. but while some of you are in 0 degree weather waiting for it to warm up so you can finish or start your build Florida is nice and toasty. i have lived here in Florida for 37 years and i will be the first one to tell you peoples attitude in south Florida suck(for the most part) but up in middle and northern Florida it's a whole different world. you can't compare south Florida to north Florida, yes there is more places to hang out down here ware i am but my son lives up in palm bay and the people up where he is are more laid back, and just generally seem to have less attitude. i have been thinking about moving up that way myself, only thing is the work situation up there is bad.but like i said it's just like any where else you can talk about our bad points but i think the good stuff out ways them any day.

you will be fine with that amp, as stated before they can handle a little more power than what there rated at. i did an install this last week in 05 Monte Carlo,two lvl3 15's on a trx 2k and there are slammin.

i have a 2007 chevy impala ls 3.5l v6, my alt has the two wire two pin plug. does XS make a vcm for my car? if so which one? i would like to get one but not sure what to look for.

you can take your deck speakers out, that will allow for some added air flow into the cabin. porting your rear deck would defiantly improve output.

sub back port on driver side loading off of inner wheel well, take out your deck speakers to give yourself some extra air flow into the cabin.if your not looking to do a lot of cutting and want to try and leave the rear deck as stock as possible this would be a good option. sub back port back would also work very well, how ever sub firing into the cabin port firing into the cabin on driver side or port firing through the rear deck would give you the best output. as far as your seats not folding down mine don't fold down either and my subs are firing forward and i have four 4" aeros in my rear deck sounds very good. when i first installed my new set up i rode around for about a week with my backseats out while i was finishing up and was wondering how i could modify my seats to fold down, finally said the hell with it and with seats in i didn't lose much at all . what i did was left my back seat undone at the top and spray foamed the shit out of everything not much rattling from the seat at all. if your not going for numbers i don't think you will notice a big difference with seat in .it comes down to trial and error every car is different good luck .

you will be fine with 12 awg, if you want to put larger wire on it go for it can't hurt but it's not needed.
