Steve is a real class act! Not because he is giving stuff away but because he is willing to help others in their builds and stand behind his products! -
Glad you got this sorted out, I just read you had power & ground from your HU, i just ran everything off my amps.
-
I tried this on my 2 channel A5602 pioneer amp. I can't say off hand if currently I'm connected at + or - but if I had to guess it would be + on the left channel. I know for sure I tried both though when I ended up with a sudden ants nest of wires.
-
Does that $175 include shipping? Or would all items have to amount to 175 in order to get the 30%?

Here we go again! Good stuff!

Oh Great! As im trying to save up. Steve, any idea since I already have 2 OM-1 & 1 VM-1 in my center console, what else this can be used for? Im rattling my brain now to figure where I would put this, obviously I don't need the entire single din setup. Thanks for making me broke! Again!
-
some bigger gauge wire won't work from what I can tell. I tried 14 from a distance of my amp which is located behind my back seat of my avalanche to the front center consoles and got nothing! I swapped to some 16/18 gauge and it worked.

Updated 17/11/15!! Floors completed!
-
I tried doing the same thing like you did and initially it did nothing. I did notice by turning it slow in the indicated direction (don't remember off hand which way the manual says) mine came to life. Are your wires connected properly? Power, remote and signal? Some amps require to be tapped in on a certain channel.

damn it, I don't use instagram!!

are u turning the adjust dial in the correct direction? This happened to me as well but it was user error on my part. It does take minor adjustment to get the light going.
-
Well sad day it is. All my damp pro is finished!! Damn it!!!!!!! 18 sheets did inner door skin for all 4 doors, 2 A-Pillars, 2 B-Pillars, 1 C-Pillar and 1 on each front floor board (Driver & Passenger side) I hate waiting on shipments, Sucks!
-
Thanks man, I have gained a great response from their Damplifier Pro alone in my front doors.
-
Do those speaker tweakers give better bass response from your components?
-
first post updated with pillar dampening
-
First post updated with progress of install.
-
Started with the inner doors skin today on all 4 doors and did one sheet on driver side and passenger side floor. Got discourage thinking about removing that carpet. When the next shipment comes we will tackle the floors for good.

Happy Halloween Sale 2015
Keagan-Z06 replied to Second Skin's topic in Second Skin Sound Deadening and Automotive Insulation!
Definitely will be ordering more with or without discount. I had done a recent transaction with PayPal and had no issues but I've been wrong before. Can't wait to get my stuff and install it. I am however not looking forward to doing the floors even though that's what this package is for. Crap! Seats, center console. Feeling tired in advance. Lol -

Damn it! Missed this on my order placed 2 days ago. Had trouble with SS site shipping page throwing some errors in some fields and had to order through Amazon. -
Nice! Can the b stock be used for anything else other than roof? Are there any other avalanche or EXT builds on here?? Not coming across them often

I remember taking it out through the bed indeed. Does anyone do under the cargo mat in the bed, to help with tire and exhaust noise?
-
I recall having issues with my sunroof making at racket!!!! Damn Headliner was a pain to take out. Do you have pics of your install (sound deadening) ?

Thanks guys for the advice. I would want to start with the doors and then the floor after I save up for a kit. I am not saving up for the kit per say but the shipping cost and troubles to get it here in Belize. I recently purchased a door pack from another member to get started. On a scale of 1-10, how much difference would that make? I intend to do the floors after.
