  1. Charge it like a regular batt. the maintainer is to keep it fresh for long storage.

  6. oh yea..i cant believe meade would screw u like that and sell u such a pice of shit! actually i have a hobart handler 175 amp 220 volt that i love! hobart is basically a miller. ive had mine for years and never had a problem. its done over 1/4 inch with ease and the price was great. although ill never use it without gas.
  7. actually harbor freight has a pretty decent auto dark helmet on the cheap (at least mine does). pstone is right about slowing down. also hook up some gas to that puppy and use solid wire. the gas help clean the material (u still have to wire wheel). remember there is no bad welders just bad grinders! (except for bad penetration!)
  8. clean the shit out of the material u r welding. impurities cause alot of splatter. u still need to use a circular motion to get that "stack of dimes" weld. how thick material r u trying toweld and with what volt/amp welder u using? r u using gas or gas filled wire?
  9. SOUNDSTREAM XXX is over rated. if u tallk to soundstream they will even tell u real world rms on the xxx amps. i think the 6500 will really do about 4000. we were thinking about carrying the sounstream line but i wasnt really impressed. their mids/highs seamed nice though.
  10. just think of those diagrams as the amp seeing either a 1 ohm load or 4 ohm load. if the amp is capable of being bridged at 1 ohm then the first diagram would be the way to go.
  11. a good starting point would be figure what your net worth assests r (everything the company owns - debt) then figure what 3 x s yearly net profit..add them together and there u go.

  13. KINETIK says for the power u want to run that u need (2) 1800 in the back along with the 1 in the front(i would go with (2) 2000 to keep them al the same. Kinetik will also tell u that u only need 1 run of 0 ga. from the front batt to the rear batts if they r the same batts.

  16. we run alot of the dpx11500 and love them...im not too sure on the diamond. i heard the have good sq. and i think they r true rms.

  19. dude i really hate u for making me say this and there might be some people that know of better amp within that $200-$250 range but ebay has the clarion dbx1800 amp in that range. its true 800 rms at 1 or 2 ohm. i know alot of people might not like clarion mono blocks but the new dpx line pounds! by the way did i mention i hate u for making my refer u to EBAY!

  21. doubtful. we never had good luck with running kickers lower than suggested.
  22. with the SPARE it doesnt matter the damage because u r only using the mag and basket...so keep pushing it! actually ive seen alot of l7s that this has happened to and they were fine for awhile. just set the gains correct and keep a check on the voice coil temp. we tried a few in tlines(BIG NO NO!) and they were fine after a little smoke out the port! probably not the best thing to do to them but it should still last awhile longer.
  23. OK do one 36 wide x 15 tall x 13 deep outside dimensions divided in the middle. OR go 36 wide x 15 tall x 11 deep if u r not using a divider.
