Lol yeah your YouTube channel brought back some old memories... I grew up on Orion... and USAmps, especially living in Gainesville, it was the amp to have. I was surprised when I moved and no one had heard of them lol.

Since we're talking dollar per watt, 1 watt 2 channel amp, rated at 4 ohms, stable to something ungodly like 0.000625 ohms. THE cheater amp, around $2000/watt.

I remember looking at the 2100HCCA on the demo board at my local shop. Right next to the "surfboard" USAmps 4 foot long monster. The price was: if you have to ask, you can't afford it. Turns out that same shop was where USAmps started building amps, true story.

If you paid to have your amp repaired, and it wasn't repaired, then you're due a re-bench or your money back. This guy has absolutely no evidence that the DD-1 does anything and he knows it. But at least you know not to send it back to him. I know I won't do any business with him simply based upon how he views his customers... like he's doing us a favor and we should be on our knees he's willing to charge us. Fucking asshat he is.

I'm guessing the server went down and when it does it's supposed to use the cloud as a backup... but this site is heavily DB dependent I'm sure that cloud service couldn't keep up.

A flat cone (not really a cone, more of a piston at that point) would reduce the height quite a bit. It's harder to find something as rigid as a cone but flat. PPI used to have a honeycomb material cut 1/2 inch thick that seemed to work pretty well. I doubt you'd get 20-30mm Xmax in one of those, but it'd be great to see one with more than 7mm.

nope. The Iphone is bluetoothing directly to the factory deck (I can use USB also) and i use that for music and hands free phone. The Ipad Bluetooth's directly to the 3sixty.3 as its own source. The 3sixty.3 also has optical and aux inputs which aren't used, yet. I use my laptop for tuning via USB to the 3sixty.3. Does the 3sixty.3 support higher resolution audio like 24bit/96khz on the optical? I can imagine a setup like yours could take real advantage of the extra detail in the music. I have a few albums in high res and even on the Yamahas in my office the difference is amazing.
