Who cares if you have a big battery? If you cant keep the battery charged while listening to music, a bigger battery isnt going to help. Upgrade the alt, you will have less problems. If you drain the battery faster than you charge it... well, you get it. -

Measure under the seats. See how much space you have. You only need a box that is .65 cuft if you go sealed. It’s gonna be hard if not impossible to make a ported enclosure. It needs a 19” port with 10sqin of area. That’s already .31 cuft. So, if you want a port, I’d have to say an aero port. Either way, its going to be difficult. The hardest vehicle to make loud without some serious interior/ cutting of the cabin is a truck. If you want back seats, and lots of bass, a blow through 6th order. If you don’t care about seats, 2 18s, 3 15s, 4 12s, 6 10s, 16 8s, etc. I’d go with the 12s or 15s, but that’s just me. -

The only time the word “incorrectly” isn’t spelled “incorrectly” is when it is spelled “incorrectly”. -

Earlier I bought 2 12s DC level3 need help with tunning
Meave Stede replied to South_Tx's topic in Subwoofers / Enclosures
Sounds like you didnt tune it right... its going to tune higher if you go sealed, its not the tuning, seems like user error. Ive NEVER had a problem like that. Maybe different subwoofers i guess. Idk man, either way, for the level 3s, you can tune anywhere from 30-36 and have GREAT results. I’d personally tune on the FS or slightly above/below, but that’s just me. -

In what way is DC bad?
-
No its super inaccurate, will almost certainly give you the wrong plans each time. God forbid you try to calculate with more than 1 sub... Either way, you are doing most of the leg work, just do the math your self, and draw it on Google Sketchup.
