my shop picked them up a while ago and they sent us like a demo seat and catalogue they have like a rawlings bassball custom seat, it looks so nice but theyre mad comfy, and you can get like massagers and heaters and all sorts of goodies, i'm always getting caught taking a load off in it towards the end of the day

mechanix gloves...i use them cuz my hands always get like messed up...i can like twist 22g wires and stuff, and what more could you need be thankful you aint doing 3 or 4 nasty cars a day people have THE MOST DISGUSTING CARS ever reach behind a seat to pull it out to run a power line and find a used condom? ever pull the little subwoofer thing out of a mercedes convertable and find a full out piss and shit filled rat nest complete with dead rat? ever sit down in a seat to pull a dash apart and realize their little baby let loose a full bladder on it before they handed the keys to you? be glad you think your hands smell , invest in mechanix gloves with the leather fingertips, those like spandex ones are junk

thats alot of power! i mean, i like my itty bitty ryobi, cuz it recharges in like half an hour and weighs all of a pound, but its slow as shit had a makita for the longest time (old one with the big ass stick battery that went in the grip) i lost it for months, turned out it was in a wheelbarrow full of water, that froze over winter. it spent like 4 months in there and came out with the batt still charged, lol it still works actually, i think my dad has it in his toolbox somewhere... but wtf are you guys trying to do that you snap bits? all i ever snap is like the random tiny drillbit.

it depends on what you want to do are you deadening for sq? to get rid of the nasty blazer rattles? to gett your bass louder?

personally, what i did was play some music and walk around my car and eliminate rattles, which in my car was mainly the license plate, and the bumper, which i pulled completely off the car and used quite a bit of dynamat in and then my gascap door got like 2 friggin layers i basically played music and walked around and found what rattled, some stuff, like my little mudflaps, i just screwed in tighter, if i could put my hand on it or push on it and get it to go away, i dynamatted it that didnt use 1/4 of the pack and made a HUGE difference in how rattly my car was, the rest of the pack went to the trunk and a little into the doors because i was running low and didnt want to do like 1.5 doors blazers rattle like mofos in thhe hatch area, its those darn glass liftgates get the inside of the metal one, get the roof, and rattle hunt, if you have any left start in the rear and work forward (quarter panels, doors, whatever you can get) but roof/gate/random rattles should use almost all of it

yea, only downside is that they run like 15-30 bux, but it comes with a nice soft squeegee, a spray bottle of water, and the shield itself (and nice instructions and packaging too) its so worth it for whatever you own, if you think the shiny bits or screen will ever get touched, invest in one

uuuh, lumina i think all you have to do is loosen the part under the steering column and then the dash bezel pops right off, but a whole lot of GM cars have like a radio tab (little piece of metal sticking up in the hole) that has to be cut out to get an aftermarket radio in, honestly i usually just push it back as opposed to breaking it off, but if its not cut off the radio sticks out a fraction of an inch too far and makes it a pita to put back together if you already had an aftermarket in there, its probably gone, and if not the CC guys are retards it is basically the same process, just different dash/trim dont be scared, i literally pulled it apart, wired a harness, dropped remote and rca's, installed the radio, put the dash together, and tested it in 20 mins, the only thing easier is like an older honda civic with an off the shelf din radio from the factory.

my bad i took so long, i like opened the page and then wrote up a review sheet for a class, and then came back and was like "oh yea, that malibu thing" i have so many cars in my head, its pathetic bro...people tell me what kind of car they have and the first thing that pops into my head is what the dash looks like, the din size, and if there is a grommet in the firewall im such a loser....

just asking cuuzz, ever notice clarion's have two separate fused constant lines? ones is for the internal amp, one is for the unit itself and all the flashing lights and junk and i get the messing with stuff someone already messed with, but if its just checking a radio, its not that bad. but for real, put your bare key in the ignition(no keychain, itll make sense...) and turn it to on, set the parking brake, put the shifter all the way back. grip the bottom of the trim around the radio and wigle it out, slide a pry tool on the part over the key then under the key, prying that part out, sitck the pry tool in the top right part of the trim then just wiggle it out, and be careful, take your time, i'm like 99% sure that car doesnt even have a screw holding it on, if it did it would be on the bottom under the stock cd player or cigarette lighter or whatever you have there, i havnt doone one of those cars in a while the kit is screwed in with one screw on each side, its like 9/32 or 10mm or something like that, undo those and pull it all out i'm sure you can take it from there, and yes it is that easy, it basically pulls off if you dont have a pry tool, wrap the biggest flathead screwdriver you have in a layer of blacktape and just be careful

clarion h/u by any chance? malibus are fun, not hard by any means, it took me <20 minutes to install a radio in my cousin's 99 malibu

i was thinking the same thing thats rough as hell unless you really wanted it to look like that, personally id rough it up, spread some bondo, knock it down, and repaint it, get that thing nice and smooth

i feel for ya bro i was really the same way, but after going to college for a little bit i kinda changed there is something to be said in finding the balance between watching out for yourself, and those around you and having the confidence to speak your mind where necessary and stand up for yourself, and what you believe in ive done the whole tell a girl i have a crush on to ask my friend out, and see her get hurt thing, a few times actually, and to be honest the girl i'm with now, the first time i ever saw her was when my best friend was trying to get with her (but that was really like 2 or 3 years before I saw her again and started talking to her) the only thing i can say, is to pretend to be what you want, and eventually you wont be pretending anymore.

i have a spare jbl gto1004 if you want it i can get pics and such when i go home april 8/9 ish, I'm at school right now rated at 100x4 at 4ohm, 150x 4 at 2ohm 75amps of fusing, 4g inputs, can play full blast at 2ohm all day without getting warm 175+shipping, it has maybe 20 hours of play, it was hooked up for my obnoxious super tweeters i never really used.

for sq, you may want to reverse the polarity to get everything sounding right, but then again that is something that may have to be done regardless of being inverted or normal some of those golden ear SQ buffs would notice the difference, but chances are your h/u has a polarity switcher (i know most pioneers, and some kenwoods/alpines have it) or your amp has a phase switch

with the hose it was like too slow to like pour water all over a trunk and generate some sort of pressure, but not too slow to fill a bucket

i had a pic of a customer's car where they had us reinstall everything they put in cuz it stopped working, and the amps were basically loose in the spare tire hole with the stock floor over it and the subs over that, and when we took it out the amps were swimming under like 4 inches of rusty nasty water ive seen no less than 20 cars with a friggin pond in them somewhere, so you're not alone and that breadbag idea is horrible get in the trunk with a flashlight, have someone spray that shit with a hose (we used 5 gal buckets cuz our hose is slow), and silicone wherever it comes in

its all pretty simple stuff once you get the whole stretching fleece/mixing resin/applying glass/getting air out thing down, none of which is hard, just takes some time experimenting and shit, you cant be afraid to throw it out and start over check out the fiberglassing forum, there's a lot of build pics and how-to's that will def give you an idea of how to do whatever it is you have pictured in your head. Just keep in mind even a small project could run 100-200bux between resin/glass/gloves/brushes/felt/wood/glue/containers/hardener/bondo/sandpaper/finishing material/paint

no reason it wouldnt work, unless you were putting some high output woofer in there that could blow a sonotube apart i'd reinforce with glass and resin, just incase, 3 maybe 4 layers, it cant hurt, all it could do is give you rigidity and lower resonances, which are two things you'd want in any sq install. looks pretty neat, let us know how it works out.
