  2. Thank you usb for allowing me to install windows 7 on the old dudes desktop.

  3. Just redid my auto insurance. Either way I'm going to save a bunch of money by not switching to Gieco.

  4. This weather is the reason why my rims are still in the shop. I can't wait it out a few more weeks until "ALL THE SNOW" has stopped.

  5. Cool deal dude. I think I'm going to give them a shot. Its a lot of cash but I want to make sure that I'm good when it comes to the brakes. I'm so ready for the wheels now. 4 years in the making and I'm almost there.
  6. So I'm looking at different options for brake rotors and pads for the truck and I came across this site. The appear to have the stuff I'm looking at with no cost shipping and slightly cheaper pricing that SummitRacing or TireRack. After some talking on here and some research I'm either going to go with the EBC Slotted/Dimpled GD7372/73 sports rotors or the Power Slot rotors. Just don't know if I should order from this place or go to someplace that is very known such as Summit or Tire Rack. Help! :clapping:
  7. So over in the suspension and brake section of the forum I posted up the following Advice on New Rotors & Brakes however I'm still trying to figure out what to do. I went to O'Riely parts store yesterday to get prices on the EBC stuff. They guy said that they carry Wagner which aren't dimpled/slotted rotor but instead your standard rotor with a lifetime warranty. So the new question that comes up is should I just get the Wagner's which will be about $200 less and just get the good brake pads, or should I still go with the dimpled/slotted rotors from EBC. Really need to pull the trigger on this by tomorrow cause if I order them now I will have them by next week and would like to get them installed next week before I pickup the rims. I've only posted here cause it seem like I'll get more exposure in the off topic forum.
  8. Been up for a hot minute now. Finally got all that crazy house party footage off my cell phone. Its now out there in the interwebs sorta secured but out there none the less.

  9. So what can I make with frozen meatballs from sames and basically nothing else? This is where I need advice from you food network junkies and food porn addicts. Help a newly single man figure out what to do.

  10. So the other day I looked at the movie For The Colored Girls. I couldn't help but feel like my life was damn near parallel to at least two of the characters in this movie. Its funny cause this movie was directed towards women of color yet I as a man am going through some of the same shit. Said part about it is that only a few true people would know which characters I'm referring to.

  11. I think its time for a Sunday nap.

  12. I need to find some food and fast.

  13. Oh my what a show what a show. For those of you that missed it you missed a classic. I know know what a water bottle show is. :)

  14. So I'm throwing another house party.

  15. Some people go from millions to nothing. Some people go from nothing to millions, but what both of them have in common is neither one of them is happy still......MJG

  16. Man I just got home from the Dad's house after an unsuccessful attempt to install Windows 7 on his HP machine. It felt real good tonight to ride home with all four windows down and the 18's slamming nothing but bass all the way home to Imperial. Is spring finally fucking here?????

  17. Night every one. Tired and need some serious zzzzzzzzzs!

  18. Oh the purses will be out of layaway very very soon.

  19. So the UFC owns Strikeforce? WTF? I swear its like wrestling except with real fighters. And Dana White looking like a chubby bald Vincent McMahon.

  20. So I just looked at a Disney safety video about making sure that kids under 8 and under 4'9 should ride in a booster seat. I wonder if this still applies to a grown up little person who'se over 40 yet under 4'8?

  21. Well after almost two years, I've finally replaced the broken belt on my vacuum cleaner. Now all the cat hairs are off my carpet in the bed room and it smells like frebreeze in the air. Now I need to get the other bedrooms and I'm good.

  22. I'm getting Chinese Food today.

  23. Exactly. I've never built a box before, and no I definitely won't be hitting 150 db with 2 12s tuned to 29 hz, I just thought I'd save some money and try out building a box or two out of this plywood. If they don't sound great no big deal. I was just wondering if I would be wasting my time. The one thing you won't be wasting is money. It weird how we do one thing in car audio but home audio guys do something different. I swear I see a lot of home subwoofer builds done using plywood.
  24. Bah. 2V preouts. Never dealt with them. Never wanted to. Glad I never did. Yes the box can be built out of plywood. No I don't suggest it. Drop $40 at Lowes or Home Depot or a similar place near you that carries good MDF and build the box out of that. The plywood isn't going to be as easy to work with and won't sound anywhere near as good. Also, you're going to spend more time bracing the plywood box than it would be worth. Good MDF, good glue, clamp it every which way and then let it sit for a few hours and then be done with it. Carpet/paint at your leisure. Better to have a good MDF box with no carpet or paint than an ugly ass plywood one that you have to drop money to cover up anyway. True, but if you don't have any money to buy wood from Lowes yet have an endless supply of plywood to make and brace a decent box isn't that worth it? We're not really talking about a 150db monster build here. I'm sure if guy has some cash he'll go and buy some MDF if he could. But to me it sounds like he's trying to save some money and already has enough plywood to temporarily get the job done. Also building different enclosures out of free plywood till you figure out the one that sounds best to you is better than dropping $32 per 49x90 sheet of MDF any day of the week. Can always go back and rebuild the box with better wood once he figures it out.
  25. O_o gains were set with an O-scope and the gain knob is still turned to 3/4? Yes that could be possible if the source unit that's delivering the signal is shitty. However to stay on topic, you can build the box out of plywood, I would suggest that you brace the hell out of it. And also seal it up really good too, maybe even carpet the box too just to make sure you've got a really good sealed enclosure.
