  1. Yea Funny how when I emailed Mr. Flowers back about three weeks ago inquiring about level 6 he stated that they still were not available to the public yet.
  2. who said i didn't No paper back and for shits and giggles...the official definition of BOOB cones *disclaimer in no way am i downing the plastic caps...just saying the CF are better Come on dude, some of us look at this stuff at work. You could have at least put the NSFW up.
  3. I need two of them and at the price that he wants for it I might as well buy a new level 4 subwoofer. I wanted to try here first and see if anyone had them laying around and wanted to sell. Can fault a man for trying to save some extra coin can ya? Besides if this doesn't work then I'll have no choice but to go to them.
  4. Need an 18 inch recone kit for a DC level 4 18. Would like to have the level kit that will fit a level 4 motor. Would prefer dual 1ohm coils but will take 1.4ohms as well.
  5. CUPS for the printer setup. SAMBA if you want to have a NTFS file server that can be recognized by a windows machine. If you decide to go with the Ubuntu server I would highly suggest setting up the Webmin access. Its a lot easier to then setup the print spooler and network sharing through Webmin than with the command lines.
  6. Ubuntu server is your best bet. Its command line based (no GUI think DOS), that can run on that system without issue since its low overhead on the system. You can use Webmin to administer the server if your intimidated by command line. http://www.ubuntu.com/server http://www.webmin.com/ How webmin works http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yrraRReECRg
  7. That look great. What is the putout at idle? Also Matt do you mind quoting me the price for something like this. I have an 07 burban that will need an additional alt very very soon.
  8. Fixed. Nice subs btw. Hopefully I'll have mines by the spring of next year. Need to save some serious cash first.
  9. Can't give ya money but I can send some nair lotion for you to get that neck hair you got going on there Red
  10. *Update* First off let me say thank you to all of you guys for your suggestions and imput. I got it working again this morning. I had to pull out the multi-meter to see that I had the wire connected to the wrong pin hole. It should have been plugged right next to the ground instead I had it two spots over from the ground. As soon as I relocated the pin, the amplifier kicked right on. So thanks alot for the suggestions and the pictures. Those did help me out. Still most likley will order the spare harness from pacparts.com. Its just that now its not an absolute neccessity.
  11. That's the thing. I put it back in pin 3 (next to the ground wire) until I heard it click back in. It felt tight as if it wasn't going to come out unless I forced it out. I'll pull the deck out in the morning to test again. Thanks for the links to the photos. I spent all night yesterday trying to find a big enough picture were I could see where that wire went to. I'll update this tomorrow after i try to fix it. Either it will work or it won't.
  12. That's what I thought. I plug it in and now I get no signal to the amp at all. I went to www.pacparts.com to see about buying a replacement harness but thats like 3-4 days for them to get the harness in and then about a week to get it shipped to me. Fuck I guess I'll have to pull the HU out again and try to see if I can get it to work or else its waiting another two weeks to hear my system again.
  13. So toinght I was putting my Pioneer DEH-P7000BT HU back into the truck after spending all day yesterday hooking up my Diamond audio D362.5 componets and Kicker ZX650.4 amp. Everything worked well during testing yesterday evening. Well tonight I wanted to finish off the install before a trip I have to make in the morning. I was having a hard time last night getting the HU to sit back into the dash. This was due to me now having 3 sets of RCA cables hooked up. Anyway to make a long story short, tonight I wanted to get the radio in and be done with it. Well while struggling with it to night the remote wire came out of the Pioneer harness. I was able to plug it back into the remote wire pin I thought was the correct pin location. I couldn't find the harness diagram to save my ass. Anyway I plugged the remote wire pin back into the harness and now my amp will not cut on. The radio works fine but the amp will not cut on. Anyone knows where the remote wire pin is suppose to go? I placed in in the third slot on the top of the harness plug. If you were to look at the plug it would go ground wire (black), empty slot, then the remote wire.
  14. Not really cause I have a 4 and I swear the motors look about the same size. I'll take a pic of that later when I get home.
  15. Anyone have a pic showing the original level 4 18 next to an xl 18 and level 5 18? I would like to see the actual difference in motor size between the three different subwoofers.
  16. Looking for Q-logic kicks for a 2007 suburban/tahoe.
  17. Come on guys keep the focus back on the bad ass Impala and not T-pain's voice box.
  18. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8vVp1p1MuJ4 http://www.worldstarhiphop.com/videos/video.php?v=wshhoEM23Gw86w0X8k5B This is one of the sickest paint jobs I've seen in quite a while.
  19. Sorry dude, I just sold the HU tonight locally. I still have the ipod adapter and CD changer though. I'm willing to trade that away for some inexpensive 6.5 coaxials or eq. Otherwise this thread can be locked.
  20. Update (Pioneer is SOLD) For sale I have used Pioneer AVH-P5700DVD flip out head unit that I pulled out of my truck about three weeks ago. Along with the radio I will include the following accessories along with the purchase of the radio: Pioneer Premier CDX-P686 6 disc CD changer ( $75 if sold separately) http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Products/CarAudioVideo/Accessories/CDChangers/CDX-P686 Pioneer CD-IB100II Ipod adapter ($30 if sold separately) http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Support/Portable+Audio/Ipod+Accessories/ci.CD-IB100II.Support Specs for the AVH-P5700DVD ($325 if sold separately) http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Products/CarAudioVideo/In-Dash/DVD-Receivers/AVH-P5700DVD Everything works and has been tested. I'm looking to sell everything for $400 shipped! The price is totally negotiable within reason. Or I can sell it all in pieces if need be. Images:
  21. Get an appointment with an Audiologist as soon a possible. Get a hearing screening to find out if you've suffering from a hearing loss. From there you can find out if your loss is a temporary loss (fluid buildup around the inner ear and ear drum) or a permanent loss (may have to get hearing aids to assist in hearing). As for ear wax removal, get the drops from the drug store. Do it about twice a day for about a week, that should remove it. However your safer if you go to an Audiologist and have them look in your ear with an otoscope. Better if they have a video otoscope so you can see the stuff up in your ears as well. Key word in this.....If your having issues with loss of hearing see and Audiologist and not a hearing aid dispenser.
  22. Well hell I have a super Walmart down the street from me. I'll stop there first then after I get off work in the morning. I was in the phone book yesterday looking for boat repair shops and what not. This was after I looked on Home Depot's site and couldn't find anything. But I'll check out all the places you guys recommened tomorrow. Again thanks for the help.
