  1. You should post the link to exact page. I even looked for the page that I thought it might be, and couldn't find it.
  2. I've heard 2 15"s at a local shop, powered off a Power Acoustik, that POUNDED. The box was a small prefab., maybe 1.25 cubes each, narrow vent. LOUD, but pricey (for a poor-guy like me.). I think it's a good brand, just not as well known as others.
  3. so to make it easy, IF two subs had the same sens., enclosure size, etc., the one that's more efficient would be louder, even though they are at the same excursion? Also, how would I go about figuring my subs efficiency?
  4. Not quite what I meant, because you're talking about 2 diff. subs that are not going to have the same optimal tuning, and probably have diff. sens(db) levels.
  5. But if they were at the same point of excursion, it wouldn't matter would it (I'm not sure that's why I'm asking)?
  6. I was just wondering what would be the difference in SPL, in 2 subs having the same excursion, but one is 400 Rms and the other is 750? This question is assuming both subs have the same optimal tuning frequency, and are powered by the same amp. Thanks
  7. "POFF POFF POFFFFFFF WHOOOOOSH" I'm high so that's funny.
  8. If you like Cam, I think you'll like this: http://www.zshare.net/audio/185357538a7c524d/
  9. Does it Asshole? Here's a comment, Kill your attitude. This IS MY GOOGLE, FOR CAR AUDIO. If you don't think THIS IS THE PLACE TO GET ANSWERS FOR YOUR ?'s, YOU NEED TO ASK SOMEONE. MATTER OF FACT, YOU know everything about CAR AUDIO. Just Coincidence, but I noticed that you put this: -------------------- emat19876 Car: None yet (saving up!!!!!) Head-unit: Some CHEAP Kenwood, Pioneer, Alpine, or JVC probably.... haha. Sub: Audiopipe TXX-AP12 Sub enclosure: 2-2.2cubes tuned to 35Hz... (NOT BUILT YET.... NEED MONEY for wood!!!!!) Amp: Audiopipe AP-15001D (1500wrms @ 1ohm, 950wrms @ 2ohms, 600wrms @ 4ohms) Mids/highs: Stock prolly.... will upgrade after a while Amp for mids/highs: Head-unit amp... LOL......................................................................All that about not having anything but some IDEAS. Grow Up! When you get some actual audio, then TRY TO BE AN ASSHOLE. It suits you better to not act like that.
  10. You JUST COMMENTED, and put "no comment". That's funny. Seriously, you could have done WITHOUT the SARCASM. You made it sound like it was common sense, but it wasn't. That's why I asked.
  11. 1, putting "slice into speaker wires" doesn't REALLY let me know what I'm trying to achieve. Also, since I haven't bought it yet, I HAVE NO INSTRUCTIONS. I want to be sure I can use it B4 I buy, that's why I'm asking. Now "emat19876" stop being LAZY, and GIVE ME A REAL ANSWER! :
  12. I know that I need a Line out Converter, but how will I hook it up? I'm going to buy it from Wal Mart, It's Like $18. Thanks
  13. I take CVR's. They have a Sens. DB level of 89.1, as opposed to the RE sub(87.6). Doesn't that have to do with the "loudness" of a sub? Higher being louder when powered with the same wattage. If I'm wrong, somebody kick some knowledge. Also the CVR's r 500 RMS, as opposed to the 300 of the RE sub. Even if you don't fully power now, you can just buy stronger amp(s) later, instead of replacing both the subs/amp as you would IF you wanted to upgrade from the RE's.
  14. Can anyone tell me how to put a "Private link to a REAL OLD SCHOOL song that I have on Itunes that'll beat your subs up? Thanks, mods, if this is the wrong area PLZ MOVE
  15. You seem like an intelligent person who gets angry but is REALISTIC about the way the world works. Keep your calm, and come back harder. Both in car, and in surveillance cam. FTB.
  16. The worst thing you can do is start blaming yourself. You seem to be coming down on yourself by saying," i can't even go with him because of school and cross". If you start to feel guilty now, this can haunt you forever if you let it. This happens to the best of people, so the BEST way is just to be honest with your DAD, while you can, worst case scenario.
  17. What I really need, is a very thorough explanation of the formula used to make the port. Once I figure that out I won't NEED a calculator, I'll be able to do it on paper if I please. Thanx for the suggestion.
