Op is talking about his Alternator getting hot, not his engine. Where is alternator located? remember, there is a lot of heat coming from the engine that will heat up other parts. -

I had a DC triple bracket and it was flawless. However I agree they were very slow at responding to emails Not talking about quality, but they customer service.

From reading reviews from people on here and other forums, I would avoid getting anything from DC.
