  1. Youve got a kenwood headunit, and 1 10" fli subwoofer
  2. Alright cool, so is there any website where i can order through or look at some specs and other things?
  3. I need to replace my belt anyway, but I think my belt is a 4 groove, whats the pulley on the large case. And is this through a company or are you a private kinda thing.
  4. So thats a 220 amp gm large case alt, but it comes with the spacer and adapter, for how much, and will the toyota belt work on the alt. pulley. And it wouldnt hurt anything it being a non toyota alternator? I have never messed with anything but OEM replacement alts. I just need something to hold abigger amps and a couple batteries.
  5. My stock alt isnt a denso, its a nippondenso, or is that what you meant. Anyways I have read that a GM large case alternator can be swapped in, but I would have to fab up some sort of spacer for the mounting bracket. and wouldnt the pulley have more grooves? I also emailed excessiveamperage and they told me they could custom build me a 180amp alternator for $345, so is that a bad idea?
  6. Fish, i've noticed that alot of older amps such as coustic can be run at lower voltage espeacially if they are not rated at high wattage(i.e. 1000+). I had a cheap insignia amp from best buy rated at 250watts rms bridged, and I could run it all day without draining the battery, but I had a Power Acoustik Gothic Series 3000D Rated at 1700RMS @ 1 Ohm, and I ran it for 5 minutes with the switch off, and poof I let out the magic smoke, so its not that newer stuff blows easier its that alot of older stuff such as coustic, insignia, etc...wasnt rated for as much power or voltage. PS my PA amp had a warning on the back to not run it at anything lower than like 12.5Volts, and not to use anything smaller that 4AWG wire. Someone correct me if im wrong.

  18. Dang, a 2000d would be perfect for my setup, this is the answer I have been looking for lol
  19. I can vouch for that, when I play anything between 10Hz and 20Hz at full volume my coils will straight slam my magnets, it kinda scares me sometimes, tis why I try to stay away from songs with such low frequencies.
  20. Excellent place, great prices and fast shipping
  21. My old setup i had was 2 12's ported and 2 12's sealed, and it didnt sound bad, punchy but still got low, not too low (cheap ass woofas)
  22. So is that mooresville address a place I could come and purchase sundown products? or is it just like the distro. center
  23. I'm running stock electrical with a .5 farad capacitor FTL and my voltage doesnt drop below 12.6 volts, but the stock alt is only 70 amps FTL, and it slaps decently but i want louder! lol i gotta find an HO alt!! bad but the biggest i can find is 110 But i am also running a 1100 watt amp that i know doesnt do 1100 watts RMS, so I wouldnt put more than say a Sundown 1500 on stock without extra batts, and NEVER play it without the engine running, i fried an amp that way lol...
  24. Bad gauge cluster maybe, or wiring issue
