alrite so my search for cheap 1800's or really any at all on here and other forums has been a failure and ive seen way to many 2400's go by for cheaper than the 18's so im goign to have to make the 2400's work cosmeticly. so im in search of 2 of them. so if anyone has any you want to get rid of for a decent price shoot me a pm.

im in need of 1800's that are in good physical condition as well as working order.

alrite ive got a set of the image dynamics idq 31 eq's and if anyone has ever dealt with these they prolly know how to help me. the back of them has all liek XLR input and output jacks, except for 1 rca input and 1 rca output. the way i have had them hooked up for the past year (and yes i kno this is horibly wrong and totally killed my stereo imaging) is had the front l+r into a y cable and in to the eq then out and split it back into a l+r rca. and same with the back. It bugged the hell outta me and i do not want to run it like this so i was wondering if anyone can give me any input on all of the other jacks on the back or if anyone has any of the plugs or anything. otherwise after my rebuild i will prolly just disconnect these and leave them in for cosmetics lol but its a shame to not use these..

thanks for pointing that out! i just bought a set for my dad. my uncles worked for Legacy audio here in springfield il. who makes audiophile grade home tower speakers and they have given me tons of the drivers they use over the years(vifa, seas, morel, eton etc.) and they are some of the best sounding drivers you could ask for.

alrite i started a thread on here not to long ago abou tthe elastomeric coating that steve used on the inside of the his box and didntt get many replys. i am pretty much done with glassin the inside of my box but i havent started sanding yet. i read about painting the inside with 2 stage paint making it alot louder becasue the waves travel better across a smooth hard surface. but the only problem is i would have to sand the inside to no end. i was plannin on sanding it to an extent and then sprayin it with spray filler primer and going from there. but i have a deadline in a few months and i dont know if this is going to be possible. another factor is that i will beable to see the inside of it and im planning on having it white either way. my other thought latley was to just use the elastomeric BUT being that its an elastic surface rather than a hardend surface, wouldnt that acually cause a DB loss? idk theres just so many damn factors in this i cant decide. i need advice on this lol

i have those bolts out but the handle wont come all the way out. it gets caught up on a spring and lever type thing on top and the lock on the bottom. the only way it looks possible is to take the whole inner door out. and to do that i gotta take out the glass cuz the window mechanism is rivited to the inner door. p.s. i already bought the kit from avs.

alrite i went to take out the handle assembly and inner door today and realized it was hardeer than i thought. i was wondering if anyone here can give me any tips or advice at all on getting the damn handle outta there. its lookin like i have to take the glass out...

and here comes the purple! i slapped together a little box that will go behind the plexi window and lighted it with blue Optyx LED strips. then wired them up to the trunk switch so they would be controlled as the trunk opens. and here it is done. lol liek i said. this kids a joker and wanted something funny. and it turned out pretty bad ass. just wish the pics would have been purple. in this pic you kinda kinda see the acually color or purple that it is.... lol and here he is... happy as hell after his car turned purple... coming next....HEADLINER! hahah

lol this build that i did yesterday is my friend's car. he bought some of my old c12's off of me and wanted me to do somthing stupid as hell in his trunk. i guess you gotta know this kid to acually understand him lol. he originally wanted my to cover a normal box in fuxxy pink carpet and fiberglass a set of boobs on the top of it haha. we went to the store to get the fuzzy pink and all they had was purple. and from here on out the idea just came into my head and i had to do it. i wanted to do it relativley simple but at the same time have it look good and professionally retarded. haha so heere it is. P.S... everry camera i used wouldnt pic up how bright the purple acually was and it jsut came up blue.... but it looks like barney haha Mercury Mistique.......lmao. rounded off all the edges of the port. i used cardboard to make templates of the curves and cut the false floor out of 3/4. did the same technique for all of the side panalsand used 1/8 panaling. becasue of the fuzzyness of the material it didnt have to be exactly perfect and i didnt wanna go to crazy with it being that alot of it was on my dime lol mounted the box in place with L brackets. this will be a plexi window ware my logo will go.

i whipped up a vid. security system of my ride with some cheap cameras and a dvr off ebay.. but we have these same cameras outside our house. they will work nice in a porch or an area thats not gonan get pounded with water lol
