  1. llp might interfere with panels going back on... just sorta depends. BUT you can defiantly make it work with some thinking and trail/error as far as the panels go. dont ever ever cut that grill. regardless of what happens that thing was built like shit and if u cut it like that it will be worse. believe me i know bc ive done it on that exact same truck you can add a dampening on the plastic panel if u want not much can/should be done there really thou... look into overkill to prevent the plastic on metal rattle
  2. depends... apply one layer or even less then see how much effect it had. apply more as needed
  3. wait me or killa? probably should be both i wouldnt trust me either
  4. as if we havent herd that line before...
  5. nice that should be a nice build i just wasnt sure if you had that many drivers. but looks like u will
  6. second skin repo team? are they hiring? im down
  7. ill take 2 of those tweakers plz... lol honestly are u able to use all this ssa ur winning
  8. right well dynapad and overkill have a tiny possibility of decreasing spl but its probably not enough that ull see on the meter. remember i hit almost a 150 with 2 sealed 15s with llp on the quarters and doors. nothing on the floor bc the stock carpet is llp like and it wont fit
  9. if ur applying vibration dampener around the whole car covering that with llp wont make it any worse. vibrations aren't always bad as far as comp spl is concerned but once u treat those areas making them more solid will only be an improvement or stay the same as far as ur score is concerned
  10. ya u need to hit the powerball or something bro. ssa is nice but millions is nicer
  11. lux liner pro ftw. ya if your working on a sq build its really a must.
  12. lol true that i didnt pay attention much when they made the change
  13. oh shit i never knew that damn u been holding out on me the thick mlv?
  14. damplifier products and spectruim/sludge dampen vibrations overkill/pro is used to get rid of plastic rattles or squeaks heatwave/pro is used as a thermal agent with acoustic filtering Lux liner pro is a barrier product used to block sound Lux liner in combination with overkill makes llp... i guess the only reason for lux liner is to make thinner LLP if u cant fit it (using standard overkill) or with no foam at all
  15. it never gets freezing down here thou... i did install MMP on my roof when it was i think 106 or something.
  16. lol yet im not installing the damp in my moms car in the 40s. guess i need ur dedication
  17. ah and u figured u would try installing damp at that time too?
  18. 0f what the hell were u doing trying to install at 0f?
  19. i wouldnt recommend trying to dampen a furry bloody animal. it normally is unnecessary and difficult. unless the fur is removed or the animal has none i would drive away
  20. that is true about overkill its cheap and effective for fixing rattles from panel to panel. so it might be a good idea to get it anyway just to make sure down the road u have no problems. with a brand new car and if u never take it apart again that would be up in the air IMO. but if u do start taking it apart again and again then ya thats a must
  21. if ur car is brand new which it is from the manufact date then close cell foam shouldnt really be necessary. i started deadedning my cobalt new as well and most panel rattling came from pulling the panels multiple times. So my main suggestion to you would be to figure out exactly where ur goal is and do it all at once. run the wires sound deaden the car ect all in one sweep and ull be good to go. replace any broken clips if u have them right away. the rediculus 5 bucks per clip or whatever bullshit the dealership charges is worth having all those clips in lastly if ur really looking for a majorly quiet ride LLP all around wherever it fits. just remember that its hard as hell to get it to stick on a vertical surface... so use contact cement, try ur best to get it one and done stuck, and get something to hold pressure on it for a few hours to dry
  22. alpha damp only comes in one size 20sqft for 139.99 http://www.secondskinaudio.com/products/AlphaDamp.php
  23. i didnt wanna say anything guys but the reason for the delay is.... well some shit went down with santa...
  24. lol cant beat the price thou. kudos for being real and honest
