  1. try adding a batt or 2 in the back, see if that helps... could just be your amps are hungry and your not feeding them enough..
  2. and prob a batt or 2 in the back since you didnt say you had those, replace stock batt 2 if your bassboxing your using alot of power for like 30 seconds right? your prob having voltage drop which is why your number isnt higher.. as well
  3. what kinda box did you hit your highest number with? and what was it tuned 2? was it subs up port back? subs back port back?
  4. you should be fine with the 2 batts and alternator.. do the big 3 under your hood as well just for better flow.... in 0 gauge or bigger... and you are fine with the 4 gauge power and ground but its always better to have bigger.. you know what they say, its better to have and not need then to need and not have...
  5. if its a true 2000 rms amp, x2 you will need atleast another batt or 2 in the back to supply them power...
  6. out of those choices the 2 15" BTLs would be louder, depending on what you have powering them.... how is your electrical and what amp are you using?
  7. you have multiple colors to choose from for the DC logo thats on the subs btw, i know theres chrome blue and red, i think black 2, im not sure what else if there is...
  8. thats true what vega said, and on top of that if you cut to much, you can just bend it and it will still be clean !
  9. noobtastick *spelling?* was putting 3k rms on 1 level 4 XL 18.. and he said it took it like a champ, they will take the power if you feed them steady clean power and dont clip the hell out of it.... and the XLs shouldnt be no more then 900.. prob less
  10. yeah, 2 are with the case and 2 arnt, or some shit like that... but thats not a bad pricetag for the amp tho
  11. look on RoE the topic is called *Smoking Deal until end of the month on JBL Crown 6000GTi amps* Street DreamsCC is the one selling them, 2 for 1250 and the other 2 for 1750....
  12. im running 1 ap30001d from audiopipe 1 ohm per channel to my 2 lvl 4 XLs and they take them like a champ
  13. the bridged is only stable at 4 ohms... which is why its poppin he has it ran at 2 ohm... run 1 sub per channel and you should be fine
  14. instead of putting them together right there, try wiring them together at the amp pos on pos and neg on neg at the terminal. you can do 1 sub per channel tho.. if your not doing that now
  15. sundown, audiopipe, kicker, RF, DAT... those subs will bang with any good amp !
  16. If you can, can you take the subs out, snap some pics of the inside of the box, take a pic of the subs how they are wired, and take a pic of the amp... that will help all of us out who are trying to help you ! so we can see exactly how you have everything.
  17. i read thru most of it.. that was 2 days ago... i read alot of stuff on here.. just like you said on the first page, he has been popping fuses the amp overheats ect.. which is why i said he just needs to stay away from kenwood amps... and to try a diffrent amp with those subs and he prob wont have a problem
  18. and sorry im not gonna sit there and look thru for his older posts to find out what his subs are since he hasnt stated them in this thread... im trying to help him figure out a problem... and i wasnt about to sit and look thru threads to find his one where he said he had svc...
  19. sorry i thought he said dvc... my bad so try to wire them like this then, since they are svc...
  20. now, do you have any pictures of your amp? what model is it 2? ill see if they are 1 ohm stable... i honestly didnt think they made 1 ohm stable amps... that is how your subs need to be wired in the box...
  21. You could also have 1 sub wired up 1 way and another wired up another way, and it could have shorted out one of your sub channels...
  22. ok... now if your new amp that you get messes up just like your one you have now, and you come and make a new topic about it and get no love and no one wants to say anything other then get a diffrent brand amp... you'll understand why, you have had atleast 20 people say get a diffrent brand amp... is your subs d2 or d4? just wondering so i can figure out what ohm load you have pushing it, did you rewire the subs as well? have you even taken them out? you could be at a 1 ohm load with the subs trying to do a 2 ohm load on the amp or vise versa
