Why not just wire the coils in parallel and get a 2 ohm load and then run the amp in stereo at 2 ohms? Its going to get a whole lot more power and be a whole lot louder too. The only thing that may suffer a bit is sound quality, but that won't matter that much.

If shipping is $1149 and I live an hour or so away, how much are you gonna charge me to come and pick one up from you? I'd say since I'm the one doing all of the driving you should pay me to take one off your hands

Looks pretty good. Did you tell here not to mess with anything in the car as far as deck settings or amp gains? I installed a system for my sister when she was 16, and when all here stupid ass little punk boyfriends would ride in the car they would crank the bass on the deck. It really pissed me off cause I told here not to touch anything since it was my equiptment and I didn't want anything broken. I told one of the little bastards if he touched the deck again I was gonna break his fucking fingers. It never happened again.

It's going to add weight to the lid and act as a deadener as well. In my old car I had the lid full of expanding foam and 3 sheets of butyl deadener, and the lid didn't like to stay open on it's own.

He didn't have one with a cone on it due to the fiberglass former cover coming off of the one he had ready. I did see Brandon playing around with one doing something to it though. I can't really recall exactly what he was doing but it was something for sure. Jacob, if you want to see what one of these beasts can do on a meter I'll offer my car up as a testing vehicle to see if a better number is possible out of it. The Focus meters pretty well. I think that I might have also found out what was wrong with it the other day too. The box happened to come unscrewed from the mount on one side and moved closer than 4" away from the back of the hatch. That may have made the difference we saw in spl out of it. The side that moved closer was almost 3" away from the back of the hatch instead of 4". I talked to quite a few competitors and they said that in a street vehicle like mine that a little movement like that could definately account for .8dbs. Not to mention the vehicle being uncharged. If it's cool with you I'd like to come over again some time and see what it can do charged with the box back in the location it is supposed to be in.
