    LOL, sorry I was busy all day, but the sub came about 30Min. after my post, it is the largest/heaviest sub I have ever owned, Everyone is amazed by it, as the biggest they had seen before was my 12" CVX's which this sub completley overshadows it. I will have some pics up tonight, also box build will be started probably this weekend, and finish near the middle of the week(waiting for my Aero's to get here).

    Well last week I got one of Jack's subs from Destram, and now its almost here, right now it is 9:40 here and the Mail guy usually comes around 10:30-11:15. I'm gonna be on the DC Bandwagon I guess LOL, and Im still waiting to hear back from Rusty on the DustCap I plan on getting, the build will be starting this weekend, and I will post plenty of pics. So far I have been without bass for about a week and a half and it is killing me.

    IMO Caps have there place in the SQ comp world, other than that I wouldn't use em. Even getting a Kinetik HC600 would be better than 100caps, or so they say on there site..........

    Ya its getting double baffled on the face, and for know I am only gonna be running about 1700rms to it(Kicker ZX.1500), so thats why the design of the box is to the higher end of specs, I think after bracing/sub displacement should put me at about 31-31Hz.

    I just wanted you guys to check my box specs, this will be a single 15 going in an 03 Grand Am sealed off from the trunk firing forward, with 4 4" Aeroports, two on each side of the sub, I know it is tuned to a lil under 30Hz, but it should raise a bit after bracing and sub displacement. So give me yalls view on it.

    First you need to upgrade that front stage, second you gotta get away from the mainstream rap, go underground where people actually have vocabulary.

    One easy test would be get a DMM and check if there is any voltage where the wires connect to the tweeter, if there is none, then the problem is somewhere before the tweeter, I.E. Wiring, crossovers, amp etc.....

    Both will do great, just the Hifonics likes to have a solid electrical, every volt you drop you lose 18% output, so as long as you have decent electrical both will be great choices.

    Need help finding a decent router for between 60-140 bucks or so, I probably wont use it a ton, but will probably be doing around 6 or 7 boxes a month. So list so routers that you feel will be good in that price range.

    Depends on the team, there are quite a few teams on here, what state/city do you live in, there may already be teams/members located near you.

    How can yall recommend songs to him, when you dont know what he peaks at, after he does what I said to find his peak frequency, then he can post the Hz he peaked at, then I/we can give him songs that are at that Hz.

    Easiest way would to do individual sine waves from 36Hz-50Hz and note which one sounds the loudest, but usually boxes will peak between 4-7Hz above tuning frequency, though sometimes cabin gain comes into play and that number changes.
