  1. I know a few but you have to pay for them, or you have to work at a dealership to access them.
  2. Thats why you get the CVX's they sound really clean and get just as loud as the L7's(Cause they are the round L7's) I got 2 12's in my car and they get plenty low and loud, and as always box is like 90% of the install, if you build it right you will get what you are looking for. Edit: Since everyone is recomending diff brands, for a blazer 2 21" IA Death Penalties, Now thats Nuff Said LOL.
  3. ????????????????????????????? JK It could be the a relay as pstone said.
  4. I found it check your PM in a sec
  5. I have never heard of this, although my subs sound alot cleaner and louder when the trunk is closed(BTW I have 2 12's in a ported box),
  6. I see what you are saying, I guess that is pretty correct, I guess snipping the wires a bit would yield about the same current drop as if you were to use a dist. block, I was just saying a dist block cause who knows when your gonna wanna add a mid/highs amp, and if you did you would already have it set-up to hook up another amp.
  7. I remember a few years ago I saw this Fan Looking Subwoofer that was for your home, it was installed in the wall or something and like vibrated the whole floor or something.
  8. That plug will work fine, and you wont lower the wires ability to flow the current, I say you would be good to go using that.
  9. Basically what I was saying was dont cut the wire to make it fit, especially is you only have enough to reach the amp, each strand you cut lowers the current delivered to your amp. so what I meant to say was use 0/1 guage to the back then use a distribution block(which will allow connection of more amps I.E. a highs amp) and from the amp ground run 4 guage from there and ground to dist. block(seperate) and have the main ground a 0/1 wire. I never cut wire to make it fit, it basically IMO turns it into a lesser wire than you started with. Edit: and use a hydraulic crimper to connect the terminals Cold Fusion FTW!!! Edit Edit: Pic of cold fusion weld connection From Charger's Trooper Build
  10. Which will still make it a 4 guage^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ If 4 is all it accepts that means that 4 guage is all you need, if you run 0guage to the back and then go from a dist. block to 4 guage your amp is still only gonna recieve the current that the 4 guage can supply, take a waterline for instance you have a pipe that is 5 inches in diameter right before it gets to your sink it shrinks to a 1 inch diameter pipe, now are you gonna get the amount of flow that the 5 inch pipe had out of your sink no your not. But 0 guage never hurts, with the dist. block you can power another few amps off of it, same with the grounds, plus if you upgrade to a larger amp you will still have the 0 guage there to work with.
  11. 1 21" Incriminator Audio Death Penalty for the Wow factor.
  12. Are all the annotations already in the vids, cause if I dont want to watch 200 vids, and then have an annotation put in after I watch it.
  13. LOL triple post, anyways I thought that the newer RF1000 only accepted 4 guage, the old one accepted 1/0.

  15. Ok so I am getting a 06 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4X4 near the end of summer, and I am about to start ordering the stuff that is gonna be in it, this should get really really loud, and I will be sure to start a build log after I get the Jeep. Okay now for whats gonna go in it. Components, it is pretty much anything at this stage havent decided quite yet. Amps, 2 Sundown 3000d's Electrical most likely a 300 amp alt from Mechman or possible a dual 200-250 amp alt set-up, 4 XS power batterys And now for the subs I have decided I am going to be running 2 21" Incriminator Audio Death Penaltys, In a big ass ported box. I am gonna start this build near the end of the summer, when I get the Jeep, and should have all the amps/subs/battery's by then. So what do you guys think, think I can pull of a hair trick with that LOL.
  16. I know sometimes when the temparture is cold outside my subs usually dont sound as good as they do when the weather is normal around here 80-90*, on the days that you sub sounds crappy any different weather wise than the days it sounds good?

  18. Im not too sure just for the reason the JL is a dual 1.5 ohm so you can either have a .75 ohm load or a 3 ohm load, I am pretty sure the RF amp is 2 ohm stable, so you wont be getting the full power of the amp a 3 ohms I would say probably in the 700-800 range.
  19. Thats crazy just a foot more and boom death.
  20. It's an older one It is 20 Gig I believe its like 3-4 years old, its on its way out, need to get a new one.
