    30 sec burp

A lot of times my burps don't even last for 1 second. Batterys charged and nothing has been turned on for a day or two I hit it just as quick as I can, Just a split second. Everything after is a waste and no matter what I do it is only going to get quieter. I've yet to get louder as things heat up.
  2. I hear ya there. I'm not even bothering with posting pics of my Crx build I am doing now. Not worth the arguing. I notice the port is on the passenger side. The guy helping me build my wall don't believe me when I tell him my car is loudest with port on the pass side.
  3. The last subs I got had break in directions in the spec sheet stuff. If yours don't get a hold of Fi and ask them. Then do what the people who build them nd know them inside and out say. For me breaking in subs or not is a mute point. If they think I am going to baby them for 40 hrs they are nucking futs. they are going wide open before the screwdriver has even cooled off.
  4. Flexibility for one thing. I ded hear one guy argue more strands are better because electricity travels on the outside edge of wire before but i think he was wrong lol.
  5. I havn't used it but googling to research on it I found places selling it 10 dollars cheaper if you decide to go with it.
  6. An idea for you is to put in a sealed sub then get it metered doing a sweep. Tune from there.
  7. I agree, I have a friend that has the same subs and amps as i do. He goes through subs and amps like crazy. I've only lost an amp to a wiring mistake. Some people don't seem to be able to hear when there equipment is being stressed.
  8. The big 3 should be in addition to, not replacing wiring.
  9. I've pulled the passenger seat. so there is a bit of battery room. Batterys as of know are the kinetik 2400 and 2 1800s and I just picked up two AudioForce AF1350's 135 ah. The Audioforce have a 4000 watt rating stamped on them. I'm unfamiliar with them so I don't know how good they are for sure... I'm going to try and fab a raised amp rack this weekend that bolts down where the seat was above the batterys using the seat bolts and holes. And thnx for the tips. My first time at trying something like this so i'll be making mistakes. Like counting my cube ft. wrong lol.
  10. It will be a bit less i'm sure, I measured it out and subtracted a few inches either way then used a wedge box calculator. Thats hatch volume, so the box will be less of course.
  11. With a wall, 10,00watts, and 24 cubic feet what sub configuration would you run for spl? 4 12's 3 15s etc... Crx by the way.
  12. $450 cash to spend on audio, Axe stuff and a hat with lights build in so I don't have to hold a flashlight.
  13. Right on lol, Lucky. My buddy carves these, this was an 84 explorer. And no I am not to young to know who kiss is.
  14. I need to start tearing them apart and learning myself.
  15. Sorrt for your loss, I lost my Dad a few months ago. The crap sucks.
  16. You need to know how a forum works. Here is the breakdown...
  17. Cool, Unregulated power supply means lots of fun and loud xperimenting lol.
  18. There was a shop here in Oregon that ran those amps at comps. They had a Ford Courier with an electric motor instead of a gas engine. At Usaci the year before last I seen them do a 159.9 and the batteries wasn't at full charge. They ran 16 volts and got a lot of power out of them.
  19. Chillax lol, You obviosly are a basshead like the rest of us. That means it is never enough and you are going to want more and get more. This is only temporary then so get FI so you can hear them and see what everyone is taking about. That way when you are upgrading next fall you can decide if you want BTL's or if you want to rn to your local pawn shop and grab Kickers. If you want to hear Kicker all you got to do is sit in any parking lot and you'll hear some soon
  20. If what you are asking is 2 12's louder than 1 15 which I think you are, Then in my opinion yes. Most of the shops around here go by sub size for competitions. The single 15 being in the same class as 2 12's. The win percentage is huge for the 2 12's. rarely does a 15 win unless there is nearly no one competing that day.
