  1. A price range would be nice too. I'd suggest a Stetsom 6k2d or a Crescendo 5k when they come out.
  2. X1000000 I got some in my hair too when I was filling some gaps in the roof of my stang. Had to get a hair cut to get the shit out
  3. No problem. Try to get a couple more opinions before you build anything tho. I was just going by the manufactures suggested specs, if your lucky you might find someone who runs those subs and knows what size box/tuning performs best. Good luck with your build
  4. 15cu.ft. net tuned to 32hz. And I don't think those PA amps will do rated power you might want to spend a litte more and get better amps.
  5. http://www.klipsch.com/na-en/products/image-overview/ I have a pair of the s4 and they sound amazing! I could only imagine what the x10's sound like
  6. Download the box calculator in the first post http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/38791-torres-box-tuning-calculator-updated-310/ play around with the dimensions of the box and port until you get the volume and tuning you want. I'm not familiar with those subs but 18s are probably going to need 5 cubes each minimum. Depending on the music you listen to 32-36hz would be good for tuning. And aim for 12-16sq inches of port per cubic foot.
  7. I bought my hps10 from that site. I've been using it for over a year, for setting amplifier gain it works great! Sure there's better scopes out there but if your only going to use it to set gains every once and a while I'd definitely recommend the hps10
  8. I think op wanted to go big on a budget and didn't realize how much electrical upgrades to back that kind of power would cost
  9. X2 For that kind of power I'd say- minimum the largest alt you can get for your ride, 4 hc2400s and a hc1400 or larger under the hood.
  10. I used to check out rotten.com back in highschool. Some pics that stood out were the weight lifter, shotgun suicide, and the guy who got a sniper's bullet between the eyes.
  11. I bought a mounting sleeve for my kinetik 1800 from their eBay store their price was competitive and shipping was fast. I want to buy 4 hc2400s from them but since their located in NY and I live in NY they gotta charge sales tax
  12. To eliminate your HU and rca's as the problem disconect the rca's from your amp then turn it on and see if the noise is still there. And depending on how bad it is some CA glue should take care of the problem with your sub
  13. Then I would have to agree with Bigg Boy https://www.madisound.com/store/product_info.php?cPath=45_338_380&products_id=8822&osCsid=63d7ee0f4766e517cde5aee61caee63c
  14. I know 10s are the biggest you listed but.... http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=293-658
  15. more budget friendly http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=293-656 but there out of stock I use 2 of the 12" epics in (2) 2.?? cu ft enclosures tuned to 26hrz for my home theater setup and I don't even use my tactile transducers any more

  18. The link to last years build is in my sig. I'm not sure if I'm going to post this years build.
  19. I've heard the same thing, I'm pretty sure it's true (thought it was Nick tho). To the Op: my Fi's took an everyday beating like a champ and when I took em out for my rebuild the coils still looked like there brand new. As for their SQ I can't really help you because I've never heard a SQ setup to compare my system to
