Relays FTW!! I do like to solder everything that way I'm not having to chase down a loose wire form a missed crimp or something stupid like that.

I started small and my plans have grown over the years. I had a mostly complete small system when I bought my truck back in 98. then my plans grew, Had a good H/U until it got wrecked when some dumbass's tried to steal it and took an amp. Before I knew what the BIG 3 was, I was already doing it. Already own a HO alt for stuff electric fans. I have bought a lot of equipment that has just never been installed. All warranties expired. Stuff like crate motor installs take precedence and stage 3 tranny's. And the biggest time vacuum ever is women. they never want to know you'd rather build a sub box or glass your doors instead of spending time with them. Here is how I get by until I build my blow through LOL No Doubt!!

where you live at? maybe someone on here is close by that would be willing to help ya out.

Do you have noise at 0 volume with 0 gain? If so i would suspect the RCA's or even head unit try RCA's first. If not, amp problem maybe?

where is the gain on the amp set?

Good thing you have a lift right? Looks like everything in the engine bay it a little tight; even without the cover on there. With the battery wires and the hint of blue on the F logo and even the oil cap everything matches and flows nicely!

Im not sure I haven't even hooked it up yet. im going to be running three sets of components off of it so Im sure it will be fine for that.

So I was sitting here day dreaming about what I would do if I had stupid amounts of money. What would I build what equipment would I use would it be spl or sq and so on and so forth. I decided that this is to hard of a question to answer; even in day dream mode. There are endless options out there. I know that whatever car, truck, or van I would build but I know it would be a Ford. I'm just diehard that way. Maybe something foreign but I just don't know. So what would you build, just the car, truck, or van? .

Im not to sure about your design but i like your idea. One question though; since your willing to cut your cab anyways why not use more of the bed and get a cover for it?

That is nice to hear of a shop that actually treats their customers right. I'm glad I can do everything myself (not meade everything but most. lol) the shops around here are terrible. If I need something in a hurry I dread going in and buying something.

Lasers sound like cheating. lol I wished I had access to that. Can it cut complex curves and such? I assume so.
