Damn. What a season finale! The Locke ordeal really had me fooled! Even with the Jacob and his nemesis stuff at the beginning of the show, I still did not catch it. So, now Jacob and this other person are like gods or something? And the bomb thing...wonder where they are going with this?

NAPA sells them. You might not be able to find them listed online, but stop in to your local NAPA (or the competition) and they will most likely have the ones you need in stock. The actual part is called a "body clip" and if you walk into a parts store and tell them that, they will know exactly what you are after.

Wtf Is This Part Called?

http://www.napaonline.com/MasterPages/NOLM...n+Signal+Switch Not cheap, but it will be a good quality part. -
You can try cleaning the rails and connections like mentioned above. Use some lubricant on the rails it rides on and the gear part of the motor if you can get to it. Something like a white lithium grease would work best. That may take care of the problem, if not, he is going to be looking at getting a new motor for it.

Multi-function switch. Might be called a few other things too, but most commonly it will be referred to as this. -
You really want to keep it below 110ft/sec and even that is high. You really want to keep that number low and I usually aim for less than 70 ft/sec.

They come with an AInet cable for your ipod. Plugs into the back of the unit. Much cleaner than having a cord hanging from the front, plus it charges your ipod and the Alpine interacts amazingly well with the ipod.

Alpine 9886. The 9887 has multi-color option, so if you want more colors you could go that route. I prefer the button layout of the 9886. Seems easier to use. I picked up that one over the 9887 after trying them out at the store and am glad I did.

Damn, I was winning until I read this thread. -
I would probably go with a single 12" in a ported box for the back of a 3rd gen. There is not a whole lot of room anyway. Been awhile, but that was the box I used for a single 12" IDMax and it sounded really good. Tuned to around 30hz but I do not remember the volume of the box. I think it was around 2 ft^3 but do not remember and don't want to really figure it out atm. Easy enough to do if you use those dimensions as teh exterior and be sure to account for the boards and port. Hope that gets you started anyway. 2 12" woofers in a ported box is not likely to happen and sound decent.

Like mentioned above, listen to see if you hear the compressor "click" when you turn your switch to ac inside the vehicle. You can buy a can of freon with a gauge from someplace like NAPA for pretty cheap and try to charge it up as well. You can also get the stuff with stop leak in it to try to fix the problem.

Engine Problems
cunokyle replied to LT.Smoke's topic in Engine and Performance - Anything for that couple extra horses!
Prolly this, but could also be other things such as a fuel pump going bad, clogged fuel filter, etc. -
As mentioned, do not turbo a stock motor! You will be pissed after a few months when you are pulling the motor! To do it the right way, either pull your engine, or locate a nice one to start a build on(h22 for example) and work on it and build it for the turbo. Internals, intake, all the goodies. Then, so you do not tear up the rest of your car, work on the suspension and drive train. You will most likely want to get some thicker drive axles because the stock ones will almost surely break. I know a poster mentioned this already, but just want you to understand how important it is to do correctly.

Massive Belt Squeal

if you have not recently replaced the belt(s) in the last your or so, you should consider a belt change before doing anything else. -
