could be a few things A. Your amp is staying on and is slowly draining your batt B. you unplugged a wire harness from the alt causing it to not charge, so it drains C. Something is physically wrong with your alternator put a dmm on your batt when the car is running, should be around 14.4, if not somethings up with the alt oh, if you tried hooking the power wire for the amp directly to the alt without the car running you probably f'd up the alternator

Welding Cable?
Chris from Mi replied to Twigz's topic in General Audio - Can't find a category for your question? Ask here.
copper is copper, as long as it is a big enough gauge, welding cable works well, but its not as flexible. Unless you get a good deal with it, i dont think its going to be much cheaper than cable designed for mobile audio. I'd try looking on this and other forums, or www.knukonceptz.com -
thats one of many go to you tube and type in ken block, one is at an old navy base, the other on dc's snowboarding hill

glad to hear that there is light at the end of the tunnel, hopefully the light will get brighter by 2012, cause there is a serious lack of jobs right now. And to think my parents told me when they were my age employers were practically begging for workers -
Should I Get A Lvl 4 Xl?
Chris from Mi replied to 1976 Silverado's topic in DC Sound Lab - Big Bass on ANOTHER LEVEL!
each setup could be louder than the other, its all in the install, but 1 12" would have a hard time keeping up with 4 12", i'd say 2 lvl 3 or 4 12's in a 4 cuft ported -
i'd say go with 1 4" per sub instead of 2 2" My buddy has an arc audio flatline in a 2 cube box on 1k and it pulled a 140 on a tone in a cherokee with stock electrical. Not to mention it would cost less for 2 ports instead of 4
