    copper is copper, as long as it is a big enough gauge, welding cable works well, but its not as flexible. Unless you get a good deal with it, i dont think its going to be much cheaper than cable designed for mobile audio. I'd try looking on this and other forums, or www.knukonceptz.com

    each setup could be louder than the other, its all in the install, but 1 12" would have a hard time keeping up with 4 12", i'd say 2 lvl 3 or 4 12's in a 4 cuft ported

    i'd say go with 1 4" per sub instead of 2 2" My buddy has an arc audio flatline in a 2 cube box on 1k and it pulled a 140 on a tone in a cherokee with stock electrical. Not to mention it would cost less for 2 ports instead of 4

    so the amp turns on if you jump the remote wire to the batt +, but the sub wont play when you jump it?
