I'm up for Brawl. I suck though. As for RB/GH, I'm thinking more scorehero type set up instead of playing online against each other. Where we post scores instead of actual head to head. Maybe with picture confirmation? That way, you can have more than one console competing against each other. They're all similar enough where there shouldn't be an advantage of having one version over another.
  2. It's similar to DRM. You can bring it other places and use, but you have to jump through ridiculous (IMO anyway) hoops to use it. But, to answer your question, yes, if you log onto live, you should be able to use it.
  3. Like the vast majority of people on here, I really enjoy listening to music. Normally, when I am listening to music on my computer, I just use headphones, but that can be somewhat inconvenient, especially when trying to let someone listen with me. Anyway, I'm looking for a 2.1 computer speaker set. I'm mainly using it to listen to music, though they will see the FPS every once in a blue moon. I don't want anything extremely extravagant (i.e. building my own system using home theater subs, etc); I want a system in a box that I can unpack and hook up. My price range is relatively flexible, but I'm looking for something that is $100-120, though if it is cheaper, that is definitely a good thing. I'm mainly going to be listening to rap/hip hop/R&B, though playing various sub-genres of rock, techno, and another genre that is a mix between folk and blues won't be uncommon. Basically, lows are my main consideration, but not at the expense of mids and highs. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
  4. Can you turn down your god damn radio? This guy has high win levels.
  5. Personally, I'd go for the Epix. I like touchscreens. The Bold is a very good phone as well. You can't go wrong either way. I've heard nothing but good about both. The only negative for the Epix I've heard is that the virtual mouse thing isn't necessary, but I don't see that as something that would make me not buy it.
  6. My vote, go for either a blackberry or something running windows mobile. The BlackJack II is a good entry level smart phone. Personally I'm looking at the Tilt and the Epix (I think that's what it's called) for windows phones, and the 8820 and the bold for blackberry. My main feature is WiFi though, so if that's not important, your options open up greatly. This is just my opinion though: when it comes to phones, don't skimp because of price. If you can wait until you can afford what you REALLY want and get it, otherwise you will be kicking yourself for the next few months/years. My parents learned that lesson the hard way. I'm not saying put yourself in debt buying a phone, or if two phones will suit your purposes to get the expensive phone because its expensive. Think of it this way, would you rather save your money and buy DC, Fi, etc. or jump the gun and end up with Pyle? EDIT: Also, skip over the Pantech Duo. I've heard nothing but bad things about the hinges. They feel very weak. To be completely honest, and this is just me, and I have nothing to substantiate anything against the company, but I wouldn't buy anything from Pantech. It seems to me for one of your first forays into mainstream (that I know of) smart phone production, you would try and put your best foot forward. If this was their best foot, then I want nothing to do with them. Pantech also made one of the Helio phones. IIRC it was the ocean.
  7. You were in bed...at 7:30? Cougholdmancough. megets on horse..."THE ALIENS ARE COMING! THE ALIENS ARE COMING! Yes that was random.
  8. http://www.koco.com/news/18035470/detail.html CNN's site absolutely sucks. How can you run something on air, and not put it up on the internet?
  9. If you're looking for a free DL, I can't help you, but if you are looking for it just to play on your're computer, I've had good luck with imeem.
  10. Wouldn't that be set with gain? I'm looking for a value to insert in the box that pops up when it asks for amplitude (0-1).
  11. What should I use for amplitude?
  12. CALL CHUCK NORRIS! But really, I'm not really sure. The only thing I can think of is to call the authorities and let them know. But besides that, I'm not really sure that there's anything you can (legally) do.
  13. I'm pretty sure I don't need the extra power, I'm only going to be putting out 525wrms, but just figured if I ever decided to upgrade my system to something bigger in the future, that was one thing that would already be done, ya know?
  14. Is there a such thing as having "too much amperage?" Could I end up doing more harm than good by adding on a bigger alt? I'm asking because I have a feeling mine is going to take a dump in the near future, and figured as long as I'm getting rid of one, I might as well upgrade, but don't know if I could end up doing more damage than if I just stayed with a stock one.
  15. Buy a scangauge and don't worry about it. If it were me though, I would probably go to like eBay and get a cluster from there. Two good resources are FullSizeChevy.com For more technical information GM-Trucks.com For (IMO) a better community. EDIT: If you are in with someone in a dealership, have them do it.
  16. How is that amp holding up? I'm asking because I'm looking at getting one myself. EDIT: I'd be putting it behind 2 P210D2's if it makes any difference. I'm not looking to win any sound competitions, and it's a starter system, so...
