  1. Guitar, Bass, and Drums bruddah I'm recording a acoustic album right now, It's coming along well and should be done some time next year Edit: I have been playing drums for about 3 years and have a Pacific 7 piece kit with 13" zildjian K Custom Hybrid hats, 16" Istanbul Trad crash, 20" istanbul ride, 9"K Custom Hybrid splash, a set of some B8's laying around, and a Paiste PST 5 18" China I like to keep it at a minimal set up usually 4 pc with just the zildjians and the istanbuls I've played bass for 7 years and guitar for 8 and have a '95 Fender MIM Strat with the david gilmour pickup set My bass is a standard P Bass.
  2. lol that trunk look like it was about to fly off and he called it godzilla in the trunk.. I don't think it's quite Godzilla... Now Meade......Meade's is Godzilla LOL
  3. Drew is right, you may need a XLR to 1/8" connector if you are looking to get a more professional style mic or a "real" mic that you will be plugging straight from the mic into the audio in on your notebook. However, there are mics that have 1/8" jacks on the end of the mic cable that will set you back about 20 bucks. Since these microphones have the 1/8" jack right there on the cable, you can plug them straight into the input on your notebook. You can find them at places like Best Buy, and they might sell them at Radio Shack.
  4. I used Cakewalk (sonar), Cubase, and Wavelab, they are all good recording apps for windows. Don't ask me how to warez them though. All 3 are powerful, if you got the extra cash to boot around, Pro Tools is a VERY good app. Another app for recording is Adobe Audition. Plus that, there are plenty of freeware ones out there with not as many features as the ones mentioned before.
